Love this boat and this music! When I build my Sailing RowCruiser and paint it identical to this boat and apply the same exact decals and buy a JetBoil, I shall blare this song continually like Colin as I relax to Alaska lol
I've noticed that while Colin Angus has a quiet, pleasant voice.. at the same time he's one of the toughest men on the planet. Hence the background music is appropriate.. When fit enough to row meaningful distances ( say 8 hours at a stretch ) I shall purchase one of his boat kits - rather than a CLC offering - based on the knowledge that the guy who designed it can row it across a major ocean with his girlfriend.. and so knows a thing or two about rowing and boats. At 61 I regard this goal as insurance for a healthy life - and in my Scots family living over 100 years is common so I had better start now if i'm going to make the World Masters when i'm 75. Meanwhile Colin trains to row to Alaska.. struth...
Interesting that you went to a push/pull tiller instead of the dual spindle system. A virtue of the dual system was that you could helm from either side. I see where the simpler push/pull system works better with the tillerpilot. How do you like it for manual steering? I would also be interesting to see the details of the actuator system for the tillerpilot - i.e. how does the tillerpilot rod engage the tiller?
I hope he doesn't disturb the whales and dolphins with that irritating music. How awful on some of the beautiful passages going North to pollute the atmosphere with that noise.

Colin what sail/rig setup are you using?
I wonder how a "Torqeedo 403 Ultralight" would work on this?
Awesome.
can the electric tiller do the sails?
No.
Can someone provide more information about the autopilot? What is Google’s role, please?
I want to build one!!!!
I enjoyed the video but I would have preferred to hear the sound of the boat scything through the water!
Thank you anyway.
What a shame to pollute a good video with obnox-noise. lets hear the water passing the hull
