Wow! Can't believe I just found this video. The first Macro Pack made me look like a legend on a paying gig, I had been wondering if there was a follow up. Thank you Guys!

You guys are amazing for real ! Im from Paris France and thanks to your job MY workflow is so dope! Do you think about having spécial macros for live Instagram like portrait mode ? It would be the greatest thing ever
About the transition, i also have problem with it not responding. I use ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO, here's how I solved it: 1. I've made a couple of macros myself before, and I've found that this can conflict with the Macro Pack that I downloaded and installed. So I deleted all the macro's and then reimported the macro pack. 2. I use Companion 3.1.2 and Stream Deck XL. The ID is always #0 and cannot be changed. So i change the ID (Surface / controller) from 1 to 0 in all buttons on page 98. For now all the functions work very well.
Hi Brandon. That's remarkable work! Thank you so much for sharing with the community. I have a quick question: in the past, I could see a border around the sources, what happened with the border feature in the Super Source? Does Blackmagic remove it from the ATEM Mini Extreme? Thanks again!
Thanks for the macros. I downloaded the macro pack, but I noticed that there’s no buttons for the crop in the zoom like you talked about the video. Can you please help me?
Thanks for this again. The transitions on the previous version works fine on my HD8ISO. The only challenge was that I couldn't edit the SS sizes as I wanted especially for slide presentations. Unfortunately, the transition button on this new version wouldn't do nothing. Looks, sources and adjustments all work fine except the transition button.
Try restarting companion fully. Others have had this situation as well but have been able to get it to work. Also make sure your stream deck is ID 1 as companion is tracking the page you are on with the latest version of companion. I’ll check on any updates that may have been pushed out but everything should be fully functional once set up. Thanks!
@@liveproductionmastery I have tried this many times. At first, the transition button is highlighted and transitions work normal, but once I click other buttons like SS Looks, Sources or Adjust, I won't be able to access transitions button again.
Thanks for the free update Brandon, I don't have StreamDeck for now but I use the emulator. I had an issue with the previous version. the SS Transition button doesn't work. I did a workaround to change the surface on each SS Transition Button to the emulator. Is there a way to use variable mapping for surface control reference.
Ok, So I found you already did somewhat of what I was referring to here. Page 98 has some Page jumper references which allow you to set the referenced controller. For people using Companion emulator, just change that index on each button on that page to "0" which is usually the inbuilt emulator then your navigation should be fine. Thanks so much for the dedication for such a perfect live stream companion (pun intended).
This is brilliant, but how do I add and keep my old buttons? as well as having your transition. your transitions have to. have two steamed deck XL But I don't believe I can have to go into the same ip address

Amazing Work Brandon, I created little images to visually represent each transition look in V1, is it possible to import v2 without overriding such customizations, or that would have to be done again?
Hey Philip, the images probably need to be re-uploaded through companion as that is going to be the simplistic way without running into adding actions on each of the buttons. I love this pack and have been using and learning. One question - I use the SS transitions for all my animated SS transitions but there are looks under SS Looks that aren’t available under SS Transitions. Am I missing a way to include those in my options? Thanks so much.
Thanks for sharing this. It is a great help with our Atem. Everything works fine, except the Transitions. I've restarted Companion, the pc running the atem software, the atem, the PI running the Companion software. Cleared everything, re-imported. Running only one Atem... still nothing. When checking the assigned buttons, all but the Transition buttons have something assigned to them, the only thing assigned in the Transition button is the image. The rest is "unassigned"...
Hmm I’ll take a look. The transition buttons should have a couple things assigned to them including a call to a specific macro, a variable update and a call to a new companion page. Which version of companion are you using? Just wondering. Stable vs experimental?
@@liveproductionmastery, stable - I'm still at v2.3.1, as everything has been working - and I've had no need to upgrade. I'll try upgrading, to see if that has some effect.
@@liveproductionmastery, I just upgraded to the latest stable. The button on the first page still does nothing, but in Companion it now has values attached. I found page 52-26 that the values refer to, and testing the transitions from there, isolated they work. But the way the pages are linked from Page1 does not work, that button does nothing.
Ok good, now just try a hard reset on companion. Quit from the red GUI pop up and just open it again with the stream deck connect and see if that fixes. The stream deck should be ID 1.
@@liveproductionmastery , just tried that again, but I'm running Companion on a Raspberry PI, not on the local computer - so connecting through a Browser - not using the "Launch GUI" app. Also, the streamdeck has ID0 - because the Raspberry version doesn't start the emulator as ID0 as default, it seems. Two things to try, 1. Restart companion and 2. make sure if you are using multiple stream decks that the stream deck you are using is considered the 1st one in the surfaces list. Hope that helps. I know The same thing happened to me until I had restarted companion and then everything was fine.
Copy and pasted, hope this helps! Found a super easy fix. In the 3.0 update, the developers simply swapped the stream deck emulator ID number to be at the bottom instead of at the top. This means when you plug in your stream deck, the ID will be 0. If you plug in two stream decks the id's will be 0 and 1. The emulator is always the last ID so if you have two stream decks the emulator ID would be 2. Lucky i had accounted for changing this if ever needed multiple stream decks. In the companion GUI interface. Go to buttons page and navigate to page 98. This where i put all the commands to jump to the correct place when clicking a button. Simply click on the first button and change the surface ID from 1 to 0. You will have to do this for each button on the page so total 11 times. This should take about 20 seconds and then you are good to go! Everything else stays the same and does not need to change.
Hello Brandon, thank you for these very useful macros, having to deal with a specialist I have a question, is it possible to make a macro on a hyperdeck that stops recording and returns to the last 10 or 15 seconds of the last recording to make a replay (in slow motion or not), I can't find a way to select the last recording it systematically asks for a ID number and as I cut my sequences every 15, 20 or 30 seconds so as not to have to go back too much in the sequence, I have a lot, is there a way to select the last one? Thank you
Well using companion, You could start using variables to track ID numbers. Then create a button that takes you to the current ID number - 1. Then you would have to get info from the hyperdeck as remaining time left video and set it to something like remaining time - 15 seconds. Then trigger the play. In theory this is all possible in companion but I would have to test it to confirm actual usability.
It currently works with 2M/E constellation super source. There is a warning at the beginning stating it was built on an 8K constellation but that is just a message. Click ok and it works correctly: hope that helps.

I believe he’s talking about the super source boxes. Not the companion stream deck boxes. For the super source borders, if you have an Atem mini extreme or extreme iso then you can’t put borders on as the switcher doesn’t support it. If you have a constellation or similar then navigate to super source tab on the right hand side of atem control software. Then go to art sub tap. Hi, in the download there are a couple files. 2 of them are for companion which is the software that runs the stream deck. One is an older 15 button stream deck version. The other is an updated 32 button version which is probably the one you want. You can import the entire stream deck file but remember to save and export your current configuration so you don’t loose any programing
Hmmmm, confirm you are using stream deck XL. Then this is setup for a multi stream deck setup. If you only have one stream deck, that means your stream deck ID is 0 and not 1. To make this work on stream deck 0, go to page 97 or 98 (which ever is the yellow forwarding buttons) and change them all to forward to ID 0 instead of ID 1. Or just plug in two stream decks and it works as intended. I use 1 stream deck for control of my switcher, then the other for control of the Super source. Hope that helps!

Do a 4 box in super source. Then use Upstream keys on your program feed to do other two boxes. In your upstream keys, you will use the DVE setting to create a floating moving box per USK (up stream key)
The atem Mini extreme series does not allow borders on SS boxes. The bigger constellation 8K does. A work around could be to build in box borders to your SS foreground looks. The transitions won't work very well in this case but the predetermined box arraignments would. If you have questions on how to do it, or set it up. Reach out via email and we can set up a consultation. Thanks!

Hi Brandon. Is there also a StreamDeck file for download or am I missing something here? Right nos I have to add all buttons to StreamDeck manually.
Hello Brandon. The download only contains three files: 1 XML (Macros) and two Companion files. NO StreamDeck file. @@liveproductionmastery
all messed up in streamdeck pages??
stuff on page 90, 95, 97, 98 then on 1, 2, 3 and 4 ???
- and SS Stransition...does nothing?
Hmmmm, confirm you are using stream deck XL. Then this is setup for a multi stream deck setup. If you only have one stream deck, that means your stream deck ID is 0 and not 1. To make this work on stream deck 0, go to page 97 or 98 (which ever is the yellow forwarding buttons) and change them all to forward to ID 0 instead of ID 1.
Or just plug in two stream decks and it works as intended. I use 1 stream deck for control of my switcher, then the other for control of the Super source. Hope that helps!
help!! My SS transitions button on the 30 button version does nothing? but on the 15 button save file it works perfectly?
Copy and pasted, hope this helps!
Found a super easy fix. In the 3.0 update, the developers simply swapped the stream deck emulator ID number to be at the bottom instead of at the top. This means when you plug in your stream deck, the ID will be 0. If you plug in two stream decks the id's will be 0 and 1. The emulator is always the last ID so if you have two stream decks the emulator ID would be 2.

@@BurningArtsStudios Hi, did this fix the SS Transition button issue for you?
@@EZxGHOST Yeah, i've had to come back to this comment just last week after only having an hour to setup new kit at a gig hah
@@BurningArtsStudios Awesome thanks for letting me know, been doing a morning show with the marco pack without the SS Transitions because I couldnt figure it out myself.
Gonna try out this soultion tomorrow
Thanks!!!
ss transition not working, size of the files after extraction is less than this file 5:29. i think you have mistakenly uploaded the broken file.
I'm having a similar issue. Just got to testing mine from downloading a while back... is this fixed now? Going to go and re-download the file and see if it fixes mine
Hi. How can i make 5 or 6 boxes for supersource on hd8? r these any packs ?
Thank u
Do a 4 box in super source. Then use Upstream keys on your program feed to do other two boxes. In your upstream keys, you will use the DVE setting to create a floating moving box per USK (up stream key)
@@liveproductionmastery thank u.
Can we make box borders only at dve? How do I make a borders in normal another boxes?
The atem Mini extreme series does not allow borders on SS boxes. The bigger constellation 8K does. A work around could be to build in box borders to your SS foreground looks. The transitions won't work very well in this case but the predetermined box arraignments would. If you have questions on how to do it, or set it up. Reach out via email and we can set up a consultation. Thanks!
@@liveproductionmastery wow thanks for the information. Actually, what I need are the templates of yours macro boxes you made in jpeg or png format. I can create borders for my fourgrounds using these templates. I did not see your e-mail address. can you write it? thank you again and again 🙏🏻
But is this only for MAC i don't see a windows verision
Works for mac and PC because it’s for bitfocus companion and atem switcher
Does your macro pack come with other controls of the atem, such as start/stop recording, single cam switching, audio gain adjustment?
Don't wear the mic so close to your mouth
