I also love the idea of you living in the city, it would be so cool to make your house fully abandoned and maybe you could put some lore like things for your old house. Exploring it later when it's all mossy could make a cool video
I agree we need some quality of life changes. I’d love to see stuff like more diverse weather, constellations and nights with varying numbers of stars, auroras on tall cold mountains, clouds getting hit with sunset colors, crickets, or maybe freaking fireflies (yes I am still annoyed about that)

The problem with the lab floors is mojang will never fix the lighting error intentionally. They would just remove the ability for light to go through slabs, as that is how it is on java. Still strange that your lab floors have that issue, as I've not seen that happen at all in any of my worlds.
CQOTD: Have you ever considered making an area of your world's Nether or End that's purely lore-based? If so, what would you build and what would the lore be?

I remembered when I saw the federal reserve in New York City and it was literally a huge vault and a bunch of cages with gold stacked to the ceiling. They also had a vault inside of a vault
you could make a building with the same architecture as your house in the city, betwen 2skyscraper. Like if some1 didnt wanted to move from his old house

I think it would be alright if you moved over to the city, I know the old place has a lot of nostalgia but I think it's good for the longevity of let's plays when things get shaken up every once in a while. Plus the city still has so much potential for variety I dont think it'll get to be a stale project to work on for a very long time
