Sorry to hear of Busters untimely passing, It's always really hard. Bear didn't let you down. Great shooting . Really enjoy your videos. I wish I had a similar spot. I hope you you're surgery went well.
What a wonderful accuracy mate! You are so fit with your rifle in this hunting day! I can see It from the way you get the rifle to anticipate the ducks!
Me and my father had a kestrel strike on a goose flapper the other day. Rather optimistic. We also missed two geese going straight over our heads while looking at a marsh harrier.
Bear got back quicker because he has 4 legs and you had 3. Would the waves bring those ducks to shore or would they drift out? It was a nice hunt to watch. Ducks are slow here this year but geese are present. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the comment. Your question about the duck is very relevant! The wind was blowing diagonally on shore from my right that day, so the duck would have eventually been washed up albeit a fair distance off to my left. On a different day, the wind could be taking the duck parallel to the shore or even away from the shore. Sometimes you have to act quickly!
I was wondering if you were goin to be back this season glad to see ya are you had a good morning by,some missis some hits and a great dog nothin better. We get goin on the 6 th my dog Beau is a little fatter and older me as wll lol but he knows the season is starting he watches me get prepped cleaning guns and reloading ,Heres to a successful season for the two of us...
Great to hear from you again. It was another delayed start for me. My right shoulder is damaged and I am having an operation on my left hand Wednesday so it might be at least a fortnight until I get back out. Wishing you all the best for the start of your season with Beau. Bear gets called "Wee Beau" as well.

Great start for you Al, got the picture preview on the morning lol....
I couldn't resist sending it seeing as he enjoys winding me up when I can't get out!

Thanks Paul.👍
Great to see you out again, No blue green algae this year!
There was some about so I had another late start to the season just to be sure. A few good storms helped disperse it! Good to hear from you again!
Hell of a morning
A cracker. Great way re-start the hunting fire inside.

I love encounters with non-quarry species, especially other hunters. It's always a sickener when you miss geese though!
@@UlsterOutdoorsandFieldsports It's a classic, and we had our obligatory miss on a duck that was straight in our faces too. Good day all in all.

@@UlsterOutdoorsandFieldsports Good luck with the surgeries
Nice flight. That's a peregrine not a sparrowhawk. They seem to take a few ducks straight off the water. Have a good season!
I sit corrected. I'm enjoying your videos at the moment too. Looking forward to seeing a few more!
Good to see u finally getting out mate, hope uve a speedy recovery but ill send u a few more photos when ur not able to get out LOL
😂 Thanks!
Im using same shells brilliant 👏
@@paullynch6718 They can be hard to get, but I really like them.👍
I use the no1s for geese, but at £14 for ten a bit expensive for ducks.
