- Hey guys, today we take a look at my addition getting the better of me! My wife has forgiven me already thank Neptune as she also agrees the jeep is ill nasty.
Im looking into making longer form videos but its rather difficult for me at the moment, if there is anything specific you want me to take a look at then let me know in the comments! I'd also love to know what you guys think of this stupidly over priced set.

I see what you say about nothing exclusive other than the box, but I think most Lego fans have a set that’s special to them for some reason, that they’d pay over the odds to own.

Man, Indiana Jones is such a great theme! I had the old Fighter Plane Chase when I was 8 & I’m loving building the Escape from the Lost Tomb that just came out this month!

Opening with a simpsons edit is very hip and cool and down with the children.
still very sad that Robrick is gone ,finding friends in the hobby can be hard and sometimes youtubers are the closest you can get ,after burning so bright so quickly ,he disapeared just as fast.

Lovely stuff! I was so excited on April 1st because the new temple run indiana jones set was being released...but few moments later I managed to find a killer deal for the good old Adventurers Pharaoh's ancient ruins 😄 indy can wait.
I don't know what it is with old sets, they're not very good looking, somewhat fragile, but...better!

I found the jeep in a lot a while ago! Neat
I found the instructions online and just bricklinked the pieces to build this set. I even bought two of those stickered ramp pieces from the temple set, peeled the sticker off carefully and applied them to some light grey ramps instead.
100% the best way to own this set!

I had two of those jeeps. They came as a solo build in another set that I think came with a magazine? Not entirely sure, but somehow I ended up with two jeeps.
This set is so good for such a small amount of pieces!
Respect for purchasing such a rare (not just expensive but truly RARE) and making this video showing you truly enjoy the set, and didn't buy it to resell or claim it as an "iNvEsTMeNt"
Also I get the love for Indy. A couple weeks back I caved and bought one of my holt grail lego sets: 7683 fight on the flying wing....and I'm more then ecstatic to finally have it! Much like yourself being excited over a sticker on a bag.
As long as you can afford it without putting yourself in a difficult spot I'd say go for it. When it comes to Lego you get to spend a lot of money but you never lose the money. You can always resell it under the same price if not more as they seem relatively stable on if you lose interest. Although I believe at some point the generation of lego nostalgists will move on to something else, and prices will considerably drop. Do hold onto those Star Wars UCS sets though!
@@littlegreenman2014 can't say I disagree with what you've said here! Can say even though I've been a lego collector since 2009 I've never bought or owned an actual UCS set. I have every SW statue (BB-8 and onward) except the R2-D2 and BD-1, just because I haven't gotten around to grabbing them. Or I've been buying too much bionicle and retired stuff lol

@@RobrickLego I'd say, if/when you want to do long form content, I'd say maybe a long form video on some of the history of either legos 'sister,' DUPLO, or the competitors who either weren't up to snuff in the past, or those who're still going today. Hell, maybe even a video on how the 3D printing lego world's nothing if not growing.
I have the same problem with the stickers. I don’t put them on either. I would not be as sharing with my wife on what things I enjoy cost. She doesn’t ask and I don’t tell, it is better that way.

Man when that SDCC set came out I managed to convince my father to buy it from eBay for me, I’m genuinely not sure how much he paid.
I do remember being a bit disappointed with it because i also had the brickmaster set. But I could say I had every single Indiana jones set produced.
Have no idea what number it was, but it’s long gone, I was a child, I disassembled and mixed with a box of pieces that was probably sold off years ago.
Probably tossed the box out too.
