- On my friend's Catalina 27, I disassemble, clean, grease and reassemble a Lewmar 30 (older model) winch.
I use a box around the winch to keep the parts and tools from falling overboard. and good thing because I almost lost the key!
I also almost lost a pawls spring! Always have some extras standing by. But if you need spare parts compare

Thanks for the helpful video as we have the same model on our boat. I'm not sure why the title of the video says single speed winch when the top of the winch says Two Speed (?)
