Hopefully it works out for us to visit all the museums I want to this summer! The only problem we run into sometimes is the museums can get a bit crowded in summertime 😆
Whew! I agree with you. It is totally worth it but we were limping across the finish line this year. We are excited to see family this summer, attend a few camps, volunteer, VBS, visit the zoo and museums, and spend plenty of time at the pool. You have some fun ideas here!
Hello! Yes my kids are also doing VBS (the two younger ones) and summer camp (the two older ones). I am hoping also to make a trip with the kids to one of the zoos in our area - we have a great zoo down in Colorado Springs. Thanks for watching 💗
I love that you’re working in museums into your summer learning plans. I bet your nature walks will be completely beautiful based on some of the videos I’ve seen from you.
Right now it is SO GREEN in Colorado - and I am hoping we get out and do some hikes soon!! Maybe we will do some indoor museum for when the days get warmer and we want to be inside with A/C 😉 Thanks Shauna - God bless!
Depending on the weather, we take days off and add days. Its gotten pretty easy because I only have two and they know what to do. We homeschool through the summer and take off December. We often miss school days for chores or other physical activities. I stopped doing anything beyond church because its just too hard to meet the demands of extracurricular organizations where I live. I'm blessed because I have a tutor who is willing to come to the house. The church has been a blessing (isn't always the case) so there is that.
That is definitely the beauty of homeschooling and the flexibility of scheduling your summer or even your whole year however works best for your family 😊 Yes my kids do church activities too, this summer they are doing VBS, youth camp, and a weekly program on Wednesday evenings. I hope that you do have a great summer and thank you very much for watching! 💜
@@walkswithholly4610 Florida has a program where they will pay you what would have gone normally to a public school. I live in a rural-ish area so clubs and things are a bit of a drive. I just keep most things at home for now. I'm lucky to have a church only five minutes away.
What are your summer plans?! Either with with kids or no kids - what are you looking forward to most about summertime??! 😎☀🏖🏰🗻💦
I love the idea of visiting museums in the summer!!
And the pool is a MUST for our family too!!☺️
Definitely! I don’t know what we would do without our pool 😃 it is always such a big and fun part of our summertime! 💦
Nature walks will be a nice way to get out and about, observe & exercise. I’d love to see your “walks” this summer. Enjoy!🌻
Thank you so much CJ for always supporting 🤗

I’m so excited for summer too. The struggle is real. ❤
I know homeschooling is not easy! But neither is school in general - the kids definitely need to break as much as I do 😊
