    Sorry for the shaky video. Did the work while recording on the massive iPhone 6S +. Thanks for looking!
    Got to www.ebay.com and search for "(your car) climate control unit". For example "2011 M3 climate control unit"
    Some of our bimmer friends have found these units on Ebay for only $5!

      Rebecca Simpson I’m sorry to hear your buttons are peeling. I’m not sure if those buttons will pop out the same way. The buttons in my video pop out really easy. I suggest you gently try it with your buttons to see if it works the same way. Let me know what you find out.

    Nice one Max P, just wondering few of my memory buttons, have hairline cracks. Is it possible to change those separately or do I have to change the whole unit?😅

    • @Max-fz7gz
      @Max-fz7gz  3 года назад +1

      That's a great question. I have not tried those buttons to see if it's possible to pop them out. You should give it a go and let me know how it goes. I'm sure other users have run into the same issue. The climate control buttons popped out really easy for me. If the memory buttons don't pop out when you gently pry at them then I wouldn't do it unless you are planning to replace the whole unit. HINT: Some people have been using the edge of their credit card as a prying tool. Sorry - I with I had a better answer for you.

    How do you remove the round buttons off? The Max and the All

  • @e-jay6390
    @e-jay6390 5 лет назад

    Good Day, Maximus P. Do you know where I can purchase the 'chill' button (located on the right side of the "ALL" knob ), as well as the trunk release button? Thanks.

    • @Max-fz7gz
      @Max-fz7gz  5 лет назад

      E-Jay The best way to go about fixing your chill button is to by the entire used climate control unit on EBay. It will come with all the buttons, but you can just reuse the buttons you need. Search for “E92 Climate Control” on eBay and you’ll get multiple units available. They are about $30 for the entire unit. The trunk release buttons is located in a different panel and I’m not sure if it works the same way.

    Hey mate, do the side buttons pop out just as easy and are there any tabs or anything to be careful not to break when pulling them out. Cheers

    • @Max-fz7gz
      @Max-fz7gz  2 года назад

      They should pop out the same way. Just slowly pry from top or bottom and they should pop right out. You can double check by trying it before buying replacement buttons. Cheers!

    • @Max-fz7gz
      @Max-fz7gz  7 лет назад

      Mark C Yes they are interchangeable. Just search for "E90 climate control" on EBay and get the cheapest one. Be careful and confirm what buttons you need to replace. Some of the button look different in the 2008 year models vs 2011 year. Let me know how it goes. 😊
