What can you do today to help your team feel settled?

I expressed my gratitude today to my employee by giving her a small prize. A full year of driving the company car daily, 5 days a week without any incident. It is admirable, so I acted. I rewarded her not only verbally but also by acting.
It was a really emotional moment.

My team right now is my family and unofficially adopted daughter. Your message inspired me to reach out through a voice message and tell a team member whose been a little distant in attitudes, that I miss and love her and wish her a blessed weekend. Her response said it all. It made her feel " settled " for sure!
Thanks for the reminder that we need to SHOW people that they are loved and appreciated for who they are, not just for what they bring to the table. I know that in my heart but there are times we put a guard up and forget that we need to be mature enough to push through feelings of rejection and show it and afirm them anyway. No turning back. I'm going forward by God's grace.
