    • @frankyduschek3366

The specific problems with minis are the following issues: bad electric wiring and needed an expensive big service around 100000 km. This concerns the oil in the turbo, etc for the rest they have the same issues like bmw, keep servicing your car very well, lots of things needs changing before it breaks down, in the engine are lots of plastic cars that will brake more often then an metal one, plastic hoses and hoses that are going bad, so it will blow up your engine because of oil leaks, radiator water hoses, thermostat issues, and at the bottom the axles, especially all rubber or all the parts that support your car or stearing problems when they wear out sooner, some engines are from Toyota, or some in the past, like the engine of the Avensis. My advice to you is when you really want a Mini, lease them, with special maintenance contract, keep them for 3 years, max 50000 or 60000km and change your car by another new lease car. The same by any other new car, whatever which brand. w@@nomsi4263

The 3.6 penyistar motor is a pos. This is why chrystler and Jeep suck. Dodge makes solid motors that are v8 hemi, but just like Chevy and gmc, they are push rod and are subject to lifter cam failure. Electrical issues are common across the Chrysler Dodge Ram platform. Ford has led in the worst reliable cars made for years on end, and they dont even make the push rod engine other than the godzilla 7.2 that barely sold really no actual reason for failure.

Gonna keep my comment short, legit and sweet. No one should ever believe this unreliable review of cars. I had a Challenger SXT for 4 years, not a single day at the shop. Only thing I did was oil change, tire rotation, changed the brake pads once and that’s it. For Jeep, I had a Jeep compass for 3 years and an older one too. Not a single problem other than alignment, and basic maintenance. This review is so NOT on point, not even close. So don’t rely on reviews like these.

Yup, 2017 and later Minis have BMW’s B series engines which are extremely reliable.
