First of all, you make nice tutorials about TwinCAT. Great job! I have used TwinCAT for a while. I can upload and download code to my CX controller using a fix IP address. However, I recently had an issue getting connected to my controller. I can see it when I broadcast search, but I don't get an x after pressing add route. Have you seen anything like this before?
@Suthida Thongnuch Hello, Thanks for your watching my channel. Regarding your questions, probably you could check your laptop firewall (try to turn off firewall, the firewall could block the ADS communication) , or check the CX controller firewall and password setting (CX controller default user Administrator, Password '1'). Please let me if you have any new finds.
The fisrt, Thanks for your previous answer. For example i have a system are running with CX2030. When I connect and back up program to my laptop, my system is still running normally, right? I want to be sure and confirm about that because I have to take a project to research but the system not allow stop.
Please find the "Open from Target" from this link infosys.beckhoff.com/english.php?content=../content/1033/tc3_remote_manager/9007202409383563.html&id=, open the target (Uploading a project from the online controller) will not stop the controller. You'd better figure out what the system revision it is using ex. 4022, 4024, you need to use the hardware matched TwinCAT3 software to upload the project. or install the "Remote manager ". Please find my another video "Method 1" from ruclips.net/video/UbuPOTG8m0o/видео.html, I talked about the "Remote manager ".
Every time when i switch online i get this warning "An application "port_851" is currently in Run mode on the PLC......This exciting application needs to be replaced" When I click yes, it is a complete reload and the controller goes to stop. What could be the problem? Thank you
I did not have this issue before. Did you install the TwinCAT with 'Run as administrator', and run TwinCAT with 'Run as administrator'. Likely the TwinCAT does not have your drive permission, so it cause the program cannot be downloaded into the target directory.
Hi I started my first steps with an IPC C6920, but I have a problem. When add a new route this IPC appears with error: ads error 1796 (0x704). I can't use off configuration mode o run mode. Also, the route appears with a padlock. Have you some idea about this?
Great tutorials as always 🙏🙌
Thank you 🙌

Appreciate your great work. What is that Target Route? that you can choose Project- Static- Or Temporary? What is the difference in those ones?
You could find the details from this link infosys.beckhoff.com/english.php?content=../content/1033/tc3_system/html/tcsysmgr_addroutedialog.htm&id=

Have you typed in the correct username and password when you setup the router connection
@@electricalautomation Yes, I have typed
User: Administrator
Pass: 1
After broadcast search and adapter selection . Twincat 3 can't find anything
Please check if your target PC has TwinCAT RT or does this TC RT running properly. Also check your target PC's windows firewall.
