To access my CX9020 using CERHOST, I had to do a couple of things: 1. Allow TwinCAT and CERHOST through the firewall (search for "allow apps to communicate through Windows Defender Firewall" for instructions). This allowed me to see the 9020 in TwinCAT Static Routes and find the IP address. 2. Enable remote display on the web config interface using these instructions: ruclips.net/video/Qvsf9mjUulI/видео.html This took me a few hours to figure out, I hope it can save time for others!
I inherited, if that concept is alright to use, a machine using this type of PLC. The ethercat network usually fails, is there a command to restart the network after failure?
Hi Duc Cuong Trinh! The TC3 License does not come free with the Beckhoff PC. Although the CX9020 Embedded PC can be ordered with runtime licenses already installed. The PC on the demo has no runtime licenses installed, but we can generate 7-Day Trial licenses and still be of use of the full PLC capabilities of the the PC. This 7-Day Trial License can be re-generated as desired.

You can try accessing the configuration using Beckhoff's Device manager, just enter the IP address or the host name of the Industrial PC in your web browser. Example : 192.168.0.10/config, or you can use the Host name instead of the IP address. Once you're in the Device Manager, you can enable the Remote Access setting on Devices->Boot Opt.

Why those 3 TC3 ADS, IO, PLC licenses are expired? I thought it comes free with Beckhoff PC

I can ping my CX9020 but i can't connect to it via CERHOST. It just says "Can't connect" and nothing more. Any ideas?
