One of the most over looked song written. It catches the entire vibe of the 60s sound the saxophones are a recording marvel distorted and overdubbed George is a genius
That's why us old 'boomers recall the 60s so fondly. But it was hard keeping up! I was still thrilled by "Twist & Shout" and "I Should Have Known Better" when this came along. "Tell Me" to "Jumpin'Jack Flash in 4 years, also. And just when I thought I was caught up, this thing called Country Rock came along.
James I love that I can comment at this point! Just covered this song..uh wrong. You are so on it with those stab chords and choosing to NOT cover the unison bend. Also the voicing of the augmented A to the G at 7 to the B is what I kept hearing but missing on the isolated cut. The lead part was clearly played up the neck but I didn't sound it fully and played it mid neck. once again you are correct to play it above 12. Dude I hope RUclips is paying you for this. You are my go to guy as a solo guitar player in a cover band. You always find the sweet spot. Your wife must be happy,..
Everybody's got something to hide except for me and my savoy truffle!

In a blind test, who would guess that the group that recorded this also recorded She Loves You.
Less than 5 years apart. Incredible the way they matured as songwriters and musicians.

Yeah.... similar to going from "I want To Hold Your Hand" to "Tomorrow Never Knows".
