I've been working on py scripts to create synthetic datasets using Anthropic and openAI. The repeatability in pulling batches for the dataset can be an issue and I found that I had to provide very explicit directions on how to return the data, even then there are blips at over 50k records.

AI is bad at data collection phase where a lot of nuance is involved and sometimes it will just make up functions
