Thank you for sharing. I hope your friend gets help soon. My 37 year old sister in law passed from mouth cancer last year. The private hospital refused to continue her treatment because she wasn’t jabbed so wasn’t allowed to cross the border. All borders here were closed. People even handed their children over a barrier to go to school. Absolute insanity. My sister in law had to travel for hours to a small country hospital not equipped to treat her to the standard she was previously receiving. She passed and we couldn’t cross the border for her funeral. My partners mother passed and we couldn’t go to her funeral for the same reason. You’d think I was typing this from a developing country but I’m in Australia. I wish I could be like Nam and not hold bitterness in my heart.

      you re welcome Lilly …
I can feel for her… a similar thing happened to me … I could not get treatment for my broken shoulder at the height of Covid… the hospital ER
took the xray but the hospital had no
room to admit me… long story short
they sent me home with a broken shoulder… It took almost a year to heal. It is extremely painful but my primary doctor in US said to move it
daily to avoid a locked up shoulder joint… I was fortunate to have help and family. Lilly… with cars and scooters on roads together these accidents are
probably common so please ask your husband Not to ride the scooter with
      the children on it.

Lilly, I think that has a lot to do with You and Wat! I feel Nam is so happy being with you and employed by you... You both have really changed her life and been such a blessing (not to mention, you have all been a blessing to each other). That just makes me cry! I just love all of you! As for Shaw, Nam's friend, I will keep her situation in prayer that she gets the surgery she needs and God Bless You and Wat for trying to get her help!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Sometimes the happiest people have gone through the most hardship, as they have discovered just how valuable and how big of a blessing happiness and joy is, and that your joy (and faith, of course) is one thing that cannot be taken from you. When you have experienced life at its lowest and hardest, with immense loss and struggle, you realize that true genuine happiness does not depend on your circumstances, but rather on your mindset, your heart, and especially your faith. 💕

Bangkok Hospital is a very well known hospital and they have very experienced doctors and great medical facilities. Being a private hospital, the fees are steep though. A week's stay at an ICU for a heart ailment (no surgery involved) can easily cost 400,000 baht. That's what we were charged when my sister was hospitalized recently at Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok. I pray for God's healing Grace for Shaw.

Hi Lilly, thank you for your interest in Burma and trying to understand and learn why young people have to leave the country. As I said before our country is under military government for so long and corrupt/ isolated and no international help so people are suffering. Because in Burma majority of people are having very hard time with financially, even they worked physically very hard, not enough for living, we don't have the support (medical and social) system in Burma. So like my self had to leave the country to support family in back home. Yes especially young girls in remote areas who doesn't have much knowledge of people smugglers and black market for under age/ illegal labour are targeted. I think IMO this is happening not just Burma, all other third world countries too. I believe you and Nam both have blessing to have each other. I'm so glad Nam met and work/ living with you. Some other might not be so lucky like Nam. Thank you very much for taking care and helping Nam and other who needs help. Please give my love to Nam and your beautiful family. Thank you for sharing information about Burma so people can aware that what happens in our country. We have many Burmese working as nannies in Singapore and they too tell the same horrific stories of militia coming to their villages to steal, rob and demand protection money as well as looking for their sons to serve in the army. Often times they have to flee from their homes and hide in the forest. Also, they tax 30% of all monies sent home. To avoid such hefty tax, they resort sending through agents but it's never secure. The situation is very sad indeed.

Hello Lily, watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭. We call that brown fruit "Chico" here in the Philippines and it's my favorite fruit, so sweet and tasty. It also helps a person who has constipation. It's a staple fruit innour table every New Year since it's somewhat round. It is hard when it's not yet ripe but juicy and sweet when soft and ready to eat.

It's my favourite fruit, too since my childhood! Over here in Singapore, we call it "Chiku". Kind of gritty with a single large black seed inside, but extremely sweet albeit natural. Wish I have the tree in my backyard

Hi again Lily, I am so moved and filled with sadness hearing the suffering of your friend and the terror that Nam have experienced at such an early age.
Nam is so blessed to have found you and your family. God knew what He was doing when he put you all together. I love how you and Wat really treat her more like family than an employee. This is a testament to the beautiful heart and spirit that God has blessed you with 💓.
Lily I see so much of myself in you in the sense of wanting to help people. Please don't feel for one moment that you have little faith in wanting your friend to get surgery right away, but instead you feel for her knowing that the pain is unbearable and you want her to be out of pain. This is your deep compassion in action.
In closing , my prayer is for an extra helping of blessings for you and your family. 🙏🙏🙏.
    God bless you always.

Lily I think we’re all overdone with the IG Perfect life stories. It’s refreshing to see an honest mix of everyday life.
I’ve always loved Nam and her ever-present smile. She’s the true personification of “yim” of the Thai culture. Her family is always on my heart these days.
I think those of us in Western culture could do with taking a page out of Asian culture and slow down a bit. Trusting in the process instead of micromanaging every little thing. Lol Maybe I’m taking to myself at this point!
Another good video! Hope Shah can get her surgery done successfully and get her arm mobile again soon.
Much love and abrazos from New Mexico!

I do hope and pray your friend can get surgery soon. Nam is a very special person and you are blessed to have her in your life. We are all now blessed to have all of you in our lives. I am learning so much from all of you. Thank you and God Bless!

Prayers for the young lady and who needs surgery and everyone else who is sick. May God give them strength and peace to endure. No one should be left to struggle in pain. It's wrong and waiting could cause lifelong issues. If there was insurance or money I guarantee she'd have been taken care of long ago. Thank you for sharing. Peace, love and health to all.

I completely understand the lack of patience as an American because I told my husband that they need to get Nam's family out, now. Wow, was your video eye opening about patience and our culture. People go off with the tiniest thing here in the states. When we lived in Bangkok my mom would get so stressed out with all us kids and make our maid take us on a walk so she could calm down. I remember telling our maid that I wished my mom would be more laid-back like her.

I've been to Thailand many times.... I love it and the Thai people so much! I'm so glad you are telling what you know about Myanmar..... It is so true about immigrants who come to Thailand for work. I was in Thailand this winter but had to cut my trip short due to getting sick. I love spending time with my Thai friends from the Isaan area who live and work in Bangkok. They are extended family. I started watching your videos during the pandemic because of my concern for the Thai people. Bless you!

Lily, this was a wonderful video. I know that you are a Godly woman with a very strong faith. Often, as Christians, we need to remind ourselves that we are human. Like you, I want things to happen quickly, It's my nature. I have little patience when it comes to medical issues and issues involving myself or my family. You and Wat are so generous to help Nam and her friend. You are in God's favor and will receive your rewards in heaven. My prayer is that your friend will receive the medical care that she needs and that Nam's family will be safe and out of harms way. It is so sad that our world continues to suffer violence, hate, and injustice. Peace be with you, Wat, your children, and Nam.
    Blessings from Alabama.
