The Desert Eagle is literally my favourite movie gun. Only due to its use by "Bullet Tooth Tony" in Snatch. The idea of a Geezer cutting about London with one of these whilst driving a vintage car makes me laugh.

The kid comes out of you when you use those it's nice to see. Makes a point at the invention of them instead of the somewhat understandable fear of them. The more comfortable and safe people get around them the less restrictions. Hopefully more people see your videos learn and repeat. I Love seeing this turn into a sport and fun.

The ejected cartridge kept hitting me just above my right eyebrow, cutting enough to bleed, and YES, I had eye protection on. A memory forever indeed.
No doubt an impressive piece of kit. On the grounds of financial embarrassment however, I think I'll stick to the old Webley revolver & swaggerstick. "This way lads." 🇬🇧
Wasn't keen on the Webley toy grip or the rubber for the faux bullet tip. My fave no frills plinkers are the Daisy Ryder carbine and Tornado revolver. Colt SAA is my fave bling, bling one.
While I have to confess that I was hoping it would be a .50 cal rubber ball slinger, this never-the-less looks fantastic. I may need one for the "pointless but fun" collection!
I had a .357 desert eagle back in the day when you could have a firearms license! when that went off with full factory ammunition at the indoor range, the noise was loud with a big flash, god only knows what a 50 cal would be like in an indoor range.
I checked out too at that My Friend. It's a bb plinker. If your going to spend that kind of money you would buy an HDR 50 or similar, a real 50 calibre
I got one this week. There's a hole in the side of the magazine where you drop the bbs in to refill it. I've been after one for a few months and I love it .
I really loved the size, feel, the weight and the blowback... But the accuracy on mine was shocking. Tried the iron sights and then a laser but it would have been more accurate if i threw it at the target. Then after having it for just 24 hours it developed a leak in the magazine. With me having these issues so early into owning this, i decided to return it and then i decided to replace it with the Colt M45 C.Q.B.P, which i absolutely love. Full metal apart from grips. It looks authentic, its pretty much same weight as the M1911, it shoots straight, also with great blowback. I decided to swap the plastic grips for the real steel M1911 walnut variety which looks and feels great in the hand as well. Hopefully folk dnt have the issues that i did. Happy shooting, all the best from Lancashire.
A nice accurate representation of an eagle, if a tad lighter than .44 magnum one I used to use, weighing a hefty 4.2Lbs! Surprisingly it soaked up the recoil better than a model 29 S&W too! Unfortunately I never got to try the 50AS version. It's a shame we don't get the full auto version in the UK, especially especially considering the low power output.
I came to say pretty much the same thing. I was pleasantly surprised at how the .44 version shot. Less so the effort required to hold what felt like a car battery at arms length...
Great review! Having said that, no self-respecting Desert Eagle replica is complete without a choice of shiny gold, even shinier nickel as well as tiger stripe. All actual colours available on the original Desert Eagle Firearm as well as many other glorious (and gaudy) choices :)

As the "deagle" is such an out there pistol, I was hoping this would shoot something unconventional for a CO2 gun like .22 pellets, or maybe even .25. I'm sure there are plenty of airgunners out there, who like me, have little interest in BB shooters.
I have two airsoft Deagles. An L6 like yours and a WE full metal gbb version, semi-auto only. I rarely use the full auto on the LG6. It can be fun when shooting it in short bursts instead of mag dumping it. They're a lot of fun! Great review and video. Andy!
It is full blowback not partial. The RS operates around a rifle breach and rotating multiple locking lug system like a straight pull bolt action system but with a recoil system like the AR18's to make it semiautomatic, this was needed to safely contain the high capacity rounds. similar to the 45 Automags. There are airsoft versions available in the UK (this 4.5mm is a factory modified version of the cheaper 6mm ones) that are full metal (i.e. metal lower as well as upper) and full auto too and can use different strengths of gasses as well as CO2. I've got a pistol telescopic sight on one of mine so a red dot is not OTT! ;-)
I bought a BSA lightning CLX break barrel on Thursday and had hoped to see a review of that on Friday. Made in England you'll be pleased to know and I'm sure will be mentioned when your review does come out.

That’s cool… I uploaded some plinking with my MA2 .30 and a couple of groups with FX Hybrids and AEA slugs… I wish I had a scope camera sometime… that’s a pretty BB gun! But if it’s actual size it’s waaay to big for my hands 😢
Do not need full auto for this. FINALLY they did better than the Umarex with the rotsry magazine.. now I can finally looking into buying the desert eagle now 😁 I had the KWC C02 Airsoft pistol, that was great and packed a punch for airsoft
Think umarex did one when the Cp88 , beretta 92, and colt 1911 8 shot rotary mag guns came out in around 1996\7. But they all seemed to have internals made of, what my local gunsmith refers to as, monkey metal, and the indexing trigger cams tended to shear and there were few spares available at the time. Replica guns are just that, replicas, not really designed to shoot with any sort of power or accuracy,and most spread bbs like a shotgun, but they are an easy way of owning a realistic looking firearm for the collector
I have to say, I love replica pistols, but I absolutely hate the need by some manufacturers to plaster the sides of these type pistols with bright white writing.
Umarex used to make a pellet firing blow back version. But they stopped making it for some reason. It’s rare to see them for sale secondhand, and when they do people want silly money for them.

I am not sure if i have the exact same model (looks really close) in 6 mm (plastic BB) but the "full auto" bucks all over the place. It becomes more of a spray and pray :)), and on a mag dump you can probably have to swap the CO2 so i would recommend getting at least one extra mag.
I have the 6mm too, it’s only the calibre that’s any different, the build is the same and it’s made by the same manufacturer. The full auto is crazy as you say, I bought an extra mag as you suggested, it’s needed 🤣

Lovely looking gun. I know it's a well known issue but it's daft that my plastic bb gun d eagle (S meagle?) has to be two tone or I can't buy it without a softair club membership whereas I could just buy this... Theoretically as least, finances not withstanding.

fun fact, the original desert eagle was not a .50, but a .357 magnum, the long revolver cartridge is why the grip is so long/wide front to back 😮
don't you mean .44 mag? it's available in both calibers,44&50 Iirc they are interchangeable calibers, with a different barrel and maybe some internals
