- Checking out my first Lon Humphrey knife. The Delta is a fantastic woods companion and defiantly worth a look.
Shout out to Justin in Canada for suggesting this knife.

Good for you. Don't be afraid to use your knives, Lon's knives are meant to be used. IMO he's an excellent maker with a style all to his own.
Its a great all around knife, not really a bushcrafter but it can, and Lon's hear treat on 52100 is outstanding, i would compare it almost to 3v
I couldn't agree more! I'm hoping he'll make a buschcrafter at some point. 😁
Beautiful blade. Lon Humphrey does good work and l like the ergos, too. Had a Minuteman in 3V by him, regret selling it
Not going to check the edge retention after the work? I was hoping to see how it held up afterward.
I’ve been a Knifemaker for over 40 years. I usually want the spine to be comfortable when the thumb presses down. So, I tend to remove the corner. I’ll play with it some time see if there is a balance to be had.
Great design blade!!!
That’s fair. I should have checked the edge retention after all that work. It came through with flying colors though. For woods blades I like a sharp spine, but I know it’s not for everyone.
Great video. Check blade made with the new steel magnacut
I’ve got two new blades in MagnaCut. There’s a lot of testing for me to do still.
