tbh, having them react to the fanon version was an absolutely magnificent idea, it really hits diffrent in both canon and fanon depending on how, or why did Horror!Sans got his injury, in canon to save the core and all the monsters in the underground, while in fanon as an act of anger cause of his disobeyance towards undyne and her rules, and it does bring in some interesting views on how they'd react to a more bloodier, ruthless and actually eats human flesh, unlike the canon version of horror who starved himself for over 7 years, overall the idea is really dope, and i really hope to see more of the canon version react to their alternative fanon's
I honestly prefer the fanon horror. He’s pretty much like canon but more powerful and ruthless.

I don't understand why you prefer fanon horror over canon horror with your logic? I much prefer canon as they actually have a set of morals tied to the original- showing that they ARE an alternate timeline of classic. Fanon is just bloody brutal body horror trying to be scary but failing due to the lack of good story backing it up. Even if fanon is more ruthless and powerful, I rather take the canon variant over Mr. I do murder No.474754 any day.

fun facts about Horror Sans:
His skull wasn't broken with a spear, it was shattered when undyne used a tool designed to extract sans magic eye
Horror sans can only be killed by either vaporizing his entire body (a slight maybe), or by destroying his magic eye, which is completely protected by his bones
Horror Sans bones are impossible to break, and are able to pierce through anything, no matter how tough it is
i'd love to see them react to reminisence if you plan on doing anything else with horrortale
The comic…….. was so unsettling the way it was drawn THE WAY ALPHYS LOOKED and just the overall feeling of it.
Alphys deserved what came to her in horrortale. Alphys revealed sans secret simply because she was jealous that undyne praised sans for his intelligence and effort to fix the core. Even when sans helped undyne and alphys to become friends again it didn’t matter to her. Her actions led both undyne and sans to lose their sanity and everything that mattered to them.

@@GenTem As far as I remember, wasn't it only Sans perspective that got told by the bear in Grillbs?
Then I remember that Aliza used her second Freebee, Undyne was coming along, Sans almost went insane of the cooked human meat and then Undyne asked who took the last cookie/Candie thingie.
This is the last things I remember from the comic.
@@SryBut There was extra parts of the comic that took place before that, but most of the comic is during the time period your talking about. And also, alot of it is in spanish.

I love the dressings!! How do you make Horror’s eye so canon?
It was quite problematic, I had to use an eye accessory that gives two oval-like blushes (actually the same one I use for the Charas)
One of them being black, which is behind horror's eye, and one of being white, blended into his bones so you can't see it
Then the red eye itself is like the normal sans eyes, but red. I re-sized both of them accordingly to make it look canon
The pupils are white, but with a red outline, so they look even smaller

@@anthonyclay8404 That was never how sans' skull was broken in canon horrortale. In canon, Sans was pinned down by the guards, attacked undyne is self defense, causing the wound you see on her, got stunned by them once again, and had his eye extracted by undyne, with a tongue-like tool

Well, blaming Frisk for this is not really entirely false, but you expect a child to convince the surface to either a. Sacrifice 7 souls to reopen the barrier (if humans know about magic) or b. Know what magic is? For all we know, magic has been lost to time and has been considered a myth by the surface.
Put yourself in their shoes
Of course they'd blame frisk and be upset at them. They came in, killed their king, took all their souls and hope, and made them live in eternal hell and starvation

The design is so good also a small tip: you can darken the colors in the other/effects menu it will make it look less bright which will make it look gorgeous (no hate btw just a lil tip)

Hey gen is your horror is still somewhat sane because many people think he is insane even tho that is a little true. In canon he is still have a little bit of his "sansnity"(i am not sorry for the pun) and morality he isn't evil he just doing what he need to do to survive
He's a ticking time bomb. He's definitely not sane, but there are moments he controls himself, like here
Other instances, he would probably try hunting down Aliza

Undyne didn't break his skull throwing a spear
What happened was that sans was pinned down, managed to hurt undyne, which is why she uses the bandages and all that, and after that, undyne then stunned him (i don't remember how) and cracked his skull open to extract the eye from him

Heard about the whole thing from the echo flower and attacked Undine so then guards pinned him down and then broke his skull to get the eye
