It's got nothing to do with my happiness,it's about our ladakhi identity and these small traditions like pawa,not wearing money garlands, wearing our traditional costumes with pride, participating in our traditional festivities, keeping our villages clean,respecting our elders , greeting anyone you meet on the streets. Read Helena's book called "The ancient futures" ,you will get a sense of what Ladakh stands for.
