Keep, this, up! 👏👏👏 This is exactly the direction more artists need when finding a stronger material authoring package than the monopolized market digital artists are forced into. InstaMAT has so much to offer, and the digital artists of today have to learn more about coding, period. It doesn't mean a digital artist has to fully understand Trig, Calc, Python, or C++, so much as they need to understand how to rubber duck their workflow, and this is a great example of how to do exactly that inside of InstaMAT. Fantastic video on exposing the power of InstaMAT. Thank you!
Excellent tutorial, from here the imagination is my only limit (as apposed to VRAM being the limit in the single-pass environment)! Thank you SO MUCH for letting us play with your software for free! I'm not a pro, I'm just having fun with the nodes and making some basic textures as a hobby so a subscription for heavily DRM'd software is not practical for me, thank you for further enabling 3D graphics art as a hobby! This tool is the bees knees, I just found it yesterday and I've been having a blast making abstract textures with it! I think this nPass thing will let me make textures I've only dreamed of...
can npass graphs iterate over a folder on the hd or package? I want to make a sprite sheet maker that looks at a list of images, or a folder and generates an atlas.

And I just watched the 2 year old one 🤦
Awesome to see you're refreshing the old videos!!!
Awesome video! Thanks guys
This is very similar (and most likely is) to the FX-Map node in Substance Designer, and Atom Graph to the Pixel Processor node.

Not yet, but this is going to be available soon with the ability to load and edit files such as JSON.
