I love how Michael and Maria relationship is...they give each other space when they know they need it, or they can call each other on their BS, and they are always there for each other. I like Alex but they don’t give me the same vibe, I can see the chemistry but I always see the pain but that’s my opinion.
Alot of people say that he treats her like a sister, but no brother looks at their sister the way Michael be looking at Maria, I'm sorry but I dont see it.

That was stupid. AndI'm glad that the Michael and Alex are married now, cuz I never should have hired paired Michael and Maria in the first place. I mean Michael really didn't even love her he's in love with Alex and now he's at least married to the soulmate that he was supposed to have and this because is history but unfortunately cannot be deleted from my mind because this shit.

@@Accal1a not long after that comment they actually got married so I have to correct myself . Michael is now married to his soulmate Alex And no both cannot be true I mean. For the show and Maria it's supposed to be with Dallas I believe.

@@christyshultz6443 I'm not sure if you're in Fandom, but in Fandom (which is when you don't watch the show for the show couples, you actually think about the show elsewhere on the Internet and write stories, make these videos etc) you can make pairings with anyone. I'm sure there are people who ship Alex with Max as well.
It doesn't mean that a person believes the show is wrong, it means that people are exploring other pairings.
So yes, they can both be true because they have different functions and allow people to explore their creativity in different ways.
@@Accal1a I'm aware of shipping, but shipping and canon or two different things. You're being purposefully obtuse, Maria tells Alex that all it was was a dirty rounder, behind his back and fucks him over and the love of her best friend's life. I can't even say she doesn't by then she just doesn't care she's angry because they kept it from her that aliens existed. So she felt like she was a title to it.. I don't say that character but I don't like that part of her art. Within a few months it's over and do you want to know why? Just in case you didn't watch all the episodes it was over because season 2 was more about Michael and Alex is personal growth. Coming together even though they work together. Basically it's a slow burn period. Alex wanted to find out what it would be like to be Michael's friend or something. He gets it if they grow u.s. people Maria seeing that Michael spend all the time with Alex world can't deny it anymore when the crash gon happen and instead of going after her and helping her he took off after Alex. When it came down to it and he had to choose each other's Alex at prove to her that he would never love her the way you are a coward. I mean she's a freaking psychic or something right she should have known that already. What was the brief status pair of Maria DeLuca in the second show...
And LOL this may be a handful of Max and Alex stories for the plain and simple reason that Alex just comes out and said that Max is not his type. Calling him an angsty nerd but he does appreciate that Max is tall. No people don't write it because I respect the person and their likes and dislikes. There might be a couple of hundred maybe three hundred or more Maria and Michael without transition and other words the majority of those stories are stories that added Maria in there because they're doing a breakup you know therapy. The story is not really shippy or Maria and Michael. Michael and Alex however have thousands in fact I'm fairly sure it's like 4,000. Altogether I've seen both AO3 and of course other sites.
I was a little surprised that Max and Liz were supposed to be the main caring for the whole show and were not popular as malex. Michael and Alex beat them out. But then again maybe the producer that creates the show. Said that she had intended for from the beginning the show that Alex and Michael would be parallel in story and meaning to Liz and Max. . And while you probably don't like to acknowledge this but caon does shape the way f n story goes. I know some people like to do au and some people like alternate pairs but here's the thing in the fandom usually vwind up writing canon because it's what made them love the show/ book/movie in the first place.

Is it just me or I'm just denying things because I'm a Malex stan? I'm really doubting Michael's love for Maria since season 1. His for her is something like...similar to how he loves her sister, Isobel. He's so caring, light, comfortable, protective and happy with her.
Meanwhile, his love for Alex is something like...deep-rooted. It's painfully embedded in his soul. It's like he's concealing that feelings using his self-hate persona and his anger because he thinks it might hurt him again and Alex.
As I recall every scenes in previous season, I somehow see the difference between Michael's fear of losing Maria and Alex. In season 2's last episode, Maria broke up with Michael. And we can see the fear in Michael's eyes as they broke up. It is as if he's losing his sister, Isobel. However, Michael's fear towards losing Alex is so mixed emotions to him.
Lastly, if he's really into Maria...why would he tell his sister in the last episode about his opinion between he and Alex?
'It's a sad story of me and Alex. It's not our time yet'
Oh really? If he really wants to get back to Maria, then he needs to talk with Alex and have closure. And Michael shouldn't expecting THEIR TIME to come. He didn't talk to Alex because he can't stand to lose him. Instead he let his unsolved history with Alex untouch because that's their only connection that keeps them together. If he cut that rope, then that's the time I can say that I give up to them, my Malex. 😭
