Luxury makeup seems to have more satin finishes. It’s more forgiving on aging lids. I’ve only used Dior and Chanel shadows and I don’t think they fit with your makeup style, unless you just want a very expensive one and done 😀
I've definitely had that thought when doing eyeshadow on my mom. It's very flattering! I think I'd like a darker taupey one and done satin. The Guerlain quad I picked was the wrong decision, I was a bit tricked by swatches that made it look darker. I am definitely going to keep an eye out on a quad or single that is that perfect dark taupe for me to try 👀
Like the look. I love satin shades for all the reasons you stated. Dior is my favorite eyeshadow formula, the permanent collection, not the limited editions. I'm surprised you even bought this quad.😄
