i love the look!! i totally get what you mean with true red eyeshadows being so hard to find, they all end up blending out into a shade of pink/fuchsia/orange. i think it's partly because we see pink as a separate colour and not just "light red" like we do with other colours (blue and light blue, for example), so when we sheer it out and our lighter skin peeks through, we perceive it as pink (unless it's one of the reds that pulls towards orange). ok now completely unsolicited and long-winded advice about genshin incoming, so feel free to skip this lol. you just triggered my hyperfixation for the past 3-ish years and I can't stop myself 😅 kazuha definitely isn't as much of a "must" pull unit as he was before dendro, and even then, sucrose was there to fulfill that role already. she is arguably better than him for some team comps. for alhaitham and navia, I definitely would prioritise getting nahida (alhaitham teams with her are much stronger and feel better to play), then furina, then raiden (she's so good as a hyperbloom trigger even if that was never her intented use, which i find so funny. she also makes the er requirements for xiangling+bennett+xingqiu team much better so you can get burst practically on cooldown). for navia teams, zhongli is nice to have (well, he's nice to have in general because he makes everything so comfy and he has some def shred. although for the past year or so some abyss enemies have gotten much stronger so now they can break his shield), but honestly, geo traveler works surprisingly well and xilonen looks like she'll be a better second geo unit for navia anyway and she's coming next patch. my go-to navia team is zhongli+xiangling+bennett, which is comfy and strong. furina is good for her too. she's good almost anywhere tho, she's so flexible. venti, my beloved, shines with groupable abyss enemies, but unfortunately he also places them so high up that some attacks can't reach, so he isn't as good of a unit. if you have sucrose, i honestly wouldn't bother going for either kazuha or venti for now. and even if you don't have her, you could pick up jean from the 5star standard selector. she's a good unit because she can heal, cleanse elemental auras and she's anemo, so she can use vv set to shred defense. furina release made her even better because she heals the entire party, so that makes furina accumulate fanfare stacks faster to boost damage. xianyun is better than her at all those things though and she also enables plunge attack playstyle, which is quite fun, so if you want to get xianyun then i wouldn't get jean, although who knows when her rerun will be. tighnari is probably the strongest standard unit, but if you already main alhaitham, idk if he's worth it. dehya has been memed to hell and back and honestly, they did her so dirty, but if you plan to get neuvillette she can be good for him (and she might be good in burning teams? i didn't get emilie tho so idk). keqing got much better with dendro release, so if you wanted an aggravate team instead of a spread one, she's nice. clorinde is better though. mona provides nice buffs, but she's kind of hard to use to time them properly? diluc is... meh. can be good in xianyun plunge teams though because his plunge damage scaling is very high. and then qiqi, my beloved daughter, she's unfortunately still not good even after furina release. she heals a lot, but she provides no energy particles or any kind of def shred, so she's kind of useless. but honestly, just pull for whoever you like, that's the most important part in the end. if you play long enough, you'll eventually be able to clear abyss with fulm stars and get many characters on their reruns. maybe you don't even care about abyss. I personally didn't even touch it for the first year and a half lmao i hate combat. i only pull for strong and easy to play units precisely to make combat less painful, but I'm not too bothered by not always getting full stars on abyss. i have had more fun pulling for klee and getting her little witch outfit to run around and take cute pictures (and never using her for combat) than with some of my other more "useful" characters! so yeah, just... ignore all my advice and ramblings above if there's someone you really like. i do hope that maybe they were helpful if you didn't already know some of these things though and if you haven't already selected your free 5 star.

i got kazuha his last rerun, he’s cool but mostly helpful for abyss on my account. even if not running a swirl team his crowd control is so useful, but idk he definitely isn’t a must pull. the upcoming character xilonen is gonna powercreep his buffs, which is interesting considering she will be geo. ❤ aside from genshin talk i love the look!!

I've been adding so many chinese beauty eyeshadows to my cart lately in yesstyle. both the singles and the palettes, they all look so interesting to me (multidimensional shine for singles and different colour stories and finishes for the palettes). for some reason I'm a bit more hesitant when it comes to lip products, maybe because rom&nd and peripera have such a chokehold on me in those areas lol

so stoked to see more chinese beauty enter the american market. agree that sephora is incredibly boring and repetitive especially with all the newer hedge fund backed clean beauty brands

If you're looking for a product recommendation for frizz, I swear by the Living Proof anti-frizz spray. I live in a hot and humid area, so frizz is pretty much unavoidable here. It's not thick and sticky like hair spray. My hair is still very much touchable when I use it, which is a must for me. I mostly use it to tame my baby hairs when I put my hair in a ponytail. I have really deep set eyes and they are partially hooded and I have a hard time doing looks . I can’t seem to get creative , I end up putting a taupe in my crease a little and then a shimmer on my lid , matte on the bottom lash line , I want to do so much more , I just don’t know how to on my eye shape

I've been playing since 1.6 😊 i agree with you so much, the quality of the writing got so much better with sumeru. i honestly cried so much at certain points (although to be fair, i cried at some mondstadt, liyue and inazuma parts too and later in fontaine as well lol but i think overall i connected more deeply with sumeru characters so I felt it more when the emotional parts came up). and omg, dirge of bilqis quest... jeht playable when!!! I love this game so much, there is so much depth to the lore and I love just running around exploring the maps (i have 100% everywhere😅). everything is so beautiful and the music is just so amazing! the only thing missing in the game is melanin 🙃
