The thing about the USS Shark. I get the impression if you believe it. The sub was probably traveling on the surface at night. Moonless night? (I’d like to check the historical record on that) charging batteries while traveling under water during the day. They were probably surprised by a Japanese warship at night at close range. Crashed dived which is typical but wasn’t deep enough to avoid depth charges. Or equelly possible was rammed by the ship which would have been sudden catastrophic damage. But I have to wonder that something like that would be clearly recorded in their war logs

I pray that they find that little girl, who now would be about 76-77 years old...but still, what a horrible thing to do to a beautiful little girl and her family 🙏🙏🙏
1:29 This is when the intro changes the music in the beginning is still great I even like the computer affects of the logo.
Yes I absolutely love this my mom went from you will end up in a ditch to you will be on unsolved mysteries. Scared straight for the eighties. It worked for me if anybody looked at me silly I ran away.
Is Pedro’s parents still alive ? I hope they are okay ❤️
Hope so too
It takes some real sickos to kidnap a kid from a disaster area, but I think that’s what happened to the little girl.
And yet it happens all the time. It happened with Maui.
I live 20 miles from Tulelake, CA. I kind of want to play amateur sleuth and see if I can come up with any info on this supposed Molly Lassiter so I can corroborate Bruce's story.
I think at one point all the Lassiter records were checked on census across the entire country
A similar case to Pedro's happened where I live in 2004, the kid's name was Solomon King. They never found the driver either.
Even for the small details, they really acted it out. This is what passion for ones work looks like. There's nothing half-assed about it!
I'm 46 years old and The theme song to this gdamn show still makes my skin crawl. Robert Stacks voice could scare the fat off of my mother in-laws ass.
2019 Oh I thought it was a news broadcast??
Old Rex Cramer. He got the boot from the control tower, and then ended up as the host UM! Now thats mysterious!
I loved this show soo much growing up. I wash I could wipe it from my memory and watch it all again.
"So glad the little girl wasn't ours" never mind it's a dead little girl who someone will be missing!
Yeah, that comment was really inappropriate
Saying they were glad the girl wasn't theirs doesn't automatically mean that little girl didn't matter or that her death wasn't tragic. Why on earth would anybody jump to that conclusion? You're going to think "oh thank god" if an unidentified body _wasn't_ your missing loved one; it's only natural. Would it have been better if she had said "relieved" instead?
he could have got all that info from that book about boat sinking.
cyril layman True. But what about the fact that he used to eat the heel of the bread? And what about the fact that he knew this guy used the back door when he was a kid. You couldn’t read about that in a book. I don’t know. Kind of weird
@@lindacosta3381 That part did stump me & then it occurs to me into days high tech world there is nothing that one can't find out about another.
Today people can find out about one's ancestry going back to even before the civil war.I am not saying it would be easy but con men are called con men for a reason. There is also the chance what he is saying is the truth,we only use about 10% of our brain & if some one was able to tap into another 10-20% who knows what we are capable of.I always try to look at both sides of the coin & have always remembered what my Dad use to tell me "if it sounds to be to good to be true than it probably is."
cyril layman True. But remember this guy was claiming all these things 20 years ago. The internet wasn’t as sophisticated then as it is today
@@lindacosta3381 I never missed that either, you are right It was not as sophisticated as it is today, but there are other ways to get that info, like sending some one to his home town & asking questions about former WW 2 vets shit like that.I don't believe or disbelieve what he has said,it is up to the people watching to believe what he has said or not to believe I just left a comment on my thinking of it is all.
Hmmm. I suppose. But why would anyone want to do that?
That’s what is weird about it. It would take time and money to gather all that info. I’m sure the guy had a family and a job. It would be strange to put all that effort. I don’t know
The Bruce Kelly story is just the guy who loved history 😂
Yeah... he went to the library FIRST lol.
Oh no! I know they had to change the theme up a little bit but I prefer season 1-5 theme. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
They live in Oklahoma, but didn't know what to expect with tornadoes?
I know, right?! I'm an Oklahoman and them tornados drop in outta nowhere most of the time!
December 12, 1990 is when the hit and run accident occurred Gerardo Gonzalez is still Wanted.
I felt so terrible about that child
I find it hard to believe that the one guy that was supposed to watch didn't at least get a licence plate number when the killer drove away?
They changed the theme music. Noooo!
It WAS updated, but I partially agree with you. The opening and the theme music from the first five seasons is much, much better for me.
@@lynnboyer6643 I wanna go back to the time I thought this theme song was bad. I got to season 9 and it's so terrible 😫
The intro song's new drumbeat introduced in this season made the song a lot less creepy imho.
The new theme song is more upbeat but looses its creepy factor 3/5
wow, the hit and run guy RAN AWAY and disappeared
Here we go, back again on Season 6
Seasons 6-9 was UM at its zenith.
My grandpa was a submariner in ww2, decorated too. He once during a submarine movie started to feel bad.
I remember in Illinois about 60 years ago seeing the outside as being very bright like technicolor, than a twister came from across the street crossing and.recrossing
Using real people to re-enact some scenes is brilliant... People were so much more interesting back then. And better looking.
Why’d they change the theme song this season 😔😔😔😔😔
new producer
Ikr its bs lol
