- Today the PTB for the twins released and wow is it bad. Hug techs are most likely going to be a thing of the past but its not that big of a deal when blights addons keep getting stronger and stronger.

As someone who used to main blight, and loves going against him on survivor, the hug tech is strong, but blight is the one of the few character I’m fine being top tier, his addons are stupid, but his base kit should not be getting worse while some of his addons make him op

@@yatrtiah Because BHVR is not capable of fixing a bug that impacts other killers besides Blight without causing other bugs, and they have a very particular sense of priorities.

you were already able to use shredded notes with the iri addons and not lose a token before these changes because it locks it at 3 tokens and wont go down to 2, so for that specific combo only this is a nerf to shredded notes
i wish i played against blight like yours because whenever i play against blight they always somehow do something that causes them to rage quit for no reason???

its like having the 3 rushes 30% (soul chem + Iri tag) for the first rush then it goes to 20% (iri tag) after so pretty much yea

yup, survivor on controller and killer on keyboard. i started on console so playing suvivor on keyboard feels weird to me compared to how much i can do on a controller

I’d say the worst change to Blight are the “reworks” for Soul Chemical and Summoning Stone. Addons with gimmicky yet unique effects that gave rise to fun builds, with them being replaced by the most generic effects.
I don’t think people realize the implications this has for Billy.

lots of DPI that and iri tag gives you 20 degrees more look angle which helps with getting those flicks

As a survivor main/former blight main this update is gonna eventually get blight nerfed considering bump logic is way stronger than hug tech and since hug techs removal survivors will have nothing to complain about why they are dying to blights so now since bump logic is gonna be the only yet maximum efficient way to play and utilize his basekit the devs will nerf blight eventually until hes just worse than billy. Hug tech should stay and the better collision should stay. I will die on this hill saying hug tech isnt op
I personally don’t mind that they removed it because it just allowed blights to be almost as good with 10x less skill. Blight is the hardest killer in the game because he has to constantly flick perfectly imo. BUT, the cracked blights that do very impressive hug techs with their flicks or their moonrushes I do like, because it adds another layer to blight. I don’t like bad blights that rely on hug tech, but I do like hug tech and prefer it not be removed I think, although I don’t care too much
i feel the bad players that rely on hugtechs spend too much time doing it just to mess it up and you get distance from. it just me tho
@@Kusirk yeah but in practice it really isn’t hard to understand, his crappy collision at least WAS really bad and a big learning curve for many. You can master huge tech in a hundred hours probably at least the easy stuff, not flicking.
Also another reason I understand why they removed it is because it’s not part of the intended killer design to slide off of walls, with wesker it’s harder and honestly not that good compared to blights version.

@@Perseus-444 idk i feel hugtechs arent a hard thing to react to and counter. most of the time when someone gets hit by a hugtech its hwen they are camping a pallet and arent paying attention

I be honest 1st and 2nd match they are bad surv... we can t know if blight still A tier becuase must of time blight doing hug tech in shack or jungle gen loop to catch surv... fast
tbf they wernt the best gamers but the matches were to show that blights addons are still broken. then shack and jungle gym loops bump logic wil awlays get you hits over just using hugtechs. they were never really needed to play him

blight has always been at a disadvantage on controller but tbh the more time you put in him the better you will get

@@funilom blights is a character that is easy to pick up but hard to master just take ur time and you will do better you just need time.

So hug techs are gone but collision is more consistent? Honestly I prefer hug techs, most fun I’ve had in dbd is moonrishing and 180 flickingz

@@fallasleep3513a lot of things that were considered bugs were added to the game I believe that they shouldn’t gotten rid of hug techs as it lowered blights total skill ceiling and overall fun of the killer
His base kit got nerfed for what? You can’t bump if ur too close to a object and us console players not having hugtechs just make it harder in general. We don’t have that pc movement, spinning console blights isnt hard, I’m not saying we need hugtechs, but you can fix bump logic without nerfing his base kit. Can’t even bump against objects if ur too close 🤦

Blight sits at the top of the list of killers in strength for a reason. his addons are op as shit, his power is very strong. the survivors arent the best. the video was show casing his addons and how they keep buffing him. also "kekw" outside of twitch is wild
