Don't buy a grade 2 listed London townhouse if you can't cope with stairs.
London is so overrated and outdated. In this price you can get a decent mansion in Beverley Hills or a beach front penthouse in Florida. In Dubai you can get a proper manaion 10 times larger detached with its own boundries.
Really. Have you been to Dubai? London is a world class city. Dubai is not. Los Angeles has a lot to offer but neither of them offers the mix of culture and history of London. The fact is London is expensive, and we like it that way.

Per in mind that property ownership in London is not for ever it’s limited to 99 years only , and in addition to what you said it’s boring city, 15m can buy you 2 mansions in Beverly Hills as you said ten times bigger and you can furnish them with the best furniture and add few luxury cars to your collection 😂😂😂

Yet those who live in Beverly Hills and Dubai still own properties in London. Sheikh Khalifa has a £5.5 billion property empire in London. So much of London was and is owned by Arab and Russian oligarchs. Just go and Google a list of worldwide millionaires who own in London.
