That lecithin was looking like honey 😋🍯 your pomade looks so good reminds me of one of my favs the nourish and shine but yours looks like it melts better when you applied it to your edges. Your hair was looking goodt girl! 😉
@@wandak9607 lanolin has a very different texture/effect than beeswax. In terms of texture, lanolin is closer to a softened Shea butter+oil+glycerin mix. It goes on like a sticky pomade and is all about adding moisture/slowing moisture loss. If you were to substitute, I think it would be a bomb substitute for the lecithin (and up to 1/2 the beeswax) instead. But I’ve personally never used lecithin- mostly going off of what I’ve seen/what I know of its chemical properties
I’m going to try making this. I make a concoction for my daughter’s hair that includes Blue Magic & Sulfur 8 because she had itch scalp. But I think that if I use your recipe along with a little pepper it oil and tea tree oil, then I think her scalp will be good.

Your hair is flourishing! Great twist out. My transitioning hair does not like 3 strand twists. Or maybe its my technique. I cannot get uniformity within the individual lock of hair.
Oh ok. I did 2 strand twist outs initially. My 1st braid out was a fail!! 🤦🏾♀️ My friend who is a natural OG encouraged me to try again and I did eventually. I have been getting better results recently.

Great video and thank you for the recipe. I also like to apply a growth oil to my scalp. However, I would think that since the grease is only going on the strands, do all those ayurvedic herbs make a difference if you left it out of the recipe? The scalp needs the herbs the most. I also didn't think that you could put anything else on top of the grease sealant. Could you put the mousse before the sealant and still get good results?

It definitely has the same consistency but it’s not sticky like honey. This grease is very much like nourish and shine for a fraction of the cost 🙃🙃
