We do have the stores in Dallas. You see, we don't need no stinkin' Steelers stuff here in Dallas. We actually don't need no Dick's in Dallas either! (After the stunt they pulled when they cut up all the AR-15 rifles in their inventory!). The ammo for AR-15 rifles are just as guilty as the rifles!
I feel sure you understand the semi auto AR-15 rifle does not have the ability to shoot things by itself. That logic can be applied to all weapons, with exception of IED's, and boobie traps, land mines, etc. Even those require a bad guy to plant them. Hammers and screwdrivers should be banned if AR-15s are banned.

Yeah. You capture these games perfectly. So funny.
I used to coach football and attended a coaching clinic with the Steelers in 2009. We attended a Steelers practice in a closed to the public setting and got to mingle with the coaches and some of the players. I was talking to Arnold Harrison (great player but injuries got him) when I noticed a big clump of sod tore out of the field. I picked it up on the sly and pocketed it. It was no bigger than a shoe. Like the dork that I am, I had someone take a picture of me with the sod (I know it's sad and tragic) and then I planted it in a small pot on the back patio where is started to grow. It grew well and for shits and giggles I planted it in a bare patch of the back yard. It took root and started to spread which is cool in a sad & pathetic way. I too am sad & pathetic so it worked out. Anyways, the Steelers go on to win Super Bowl XLIII. Believe it or not that summer someone offered to buy some of the sod that I had planted. I thought that they were joking but they weren't. With them being lifelong Steelers fans like myself, I was going to just give them some of it for free. Well they said they were insulted that I wouldn't take anything for the sod so I told them to make a donation to a charity. I am a dog person and I thought any donation to a rescue shelter would help. It turns out that this family donated $1000 to a needy animal rescue in Westmoreland County, PA and attributed it to me! I was flattered and said rescue sent me tickets to a basket raffle. To make this extremely long story a little shorter, I went to the raffle where I met a nice little basset hound that I adopted and who is still my best friend in the world. Also fate sought me out with good news (for once) and I won a huge Steelers gift basket that was full of autographs, hats, shirts and tickets to several games! I guess good things do happen from time to time so be nice and pay it forward! Go Steelers and Pittsburgh Dad for President in 2020! =]

Steel Penguin Sure! Only eligible pass receivers can catch forward pass balls. Those are running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers. If a player is not one of those, they have to report to the referee as eligible to receive a pass.
Interestingly, all those positions have specific uniform numbers that they are allowed to be. Probably to be easily identified. (So like, tight ends can only be numbers 40-49 and 80-89). So announcing Banner as eligible also helps communicate that even tho 72 isn't a number receivers use, he is legal.
I think before Zach Banner got that role, it was Chris Hubbard that was constantly reporting eligible, and before that, one of my favorites The Big Ragu Ramon Foster. But seems no one has gotten as over as Banner seems to have! :-)

Cactus Jackie The confusing part is 72 never went out as a receiver. Is it possible they report as eligible so they can push the defender downfield without being called as an ineligible downfield? Was trying to figure this out for half the game. He literally reported about 1/3 of the offensive snaps late in the game. It became a joke in the stadium. Still don’t get why they had him report so much. The other thought I had was it gave them a sixth linemen without having to cover him up with an eligible. Don’t know the game good enough to know the answer. It did make for some good fun though.

@@tedbabbitt1522 Yes Ted, gave the PATS a plug since I am from Boston, but in the 70s I liked and followed the Steelers and Patriots. Bradshaw was great as he could run or throw the ball. That steel curtain defense was amazing with mean Joe green, Jack Lambert was scary and Jack Ham. Would be fun to put Steelers dynasty and Patriots dynasty info into a computer and see who wins according to the computer.
