Here's how I do it. I usually purchase the isolated backing tracks (from one of several sites on the web) and then use RIPX to split the original mp3 into 4 stems - drums, vocals, bass & other. (There are also several sites on the web that will split your mp3 file) I then "match" them by lining up the drum tracks of the original and the backing track on my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and then cut/paste/loop etc. to my hearts content! Finally I play the song on Virtual DJ and screen record my PC and then upload to RUclips. Easy eh? You just need a lot of spare time and a fare bit of money - oh, and an understanding wife!!!
@@grandadsteves5543 A detailed and excellent explanation. I myself am something of a remixer. As my RUclips alias suggests, I really love surround sound. Not sure if you know, but since 2023 RUclips has been streaming in 5.1 surround. I've taken advantage of that by uploading some of my surround remixes to my Surround Freak channel. I still have more to upload there. I've also uploaded (or got others to upload to their channels) some of my stereo remixes like Take On Me by a-ha, Blue Monday by New Order, and Call Me by Go West. I even got into some Blender 3D modeling, and incorporated that into Go West's We Close Our Eyes music video.
Hi Manuel. I must admit that I don't even remember having heard this song before let alone the Clodagh Rodgers version (although I do of course know of Clodagh and remember Substitute by Clout) But hey - a lot of alcohol has been slowly pickling my brain since 1979!!
1000 Thank you for making a remix of one of my favorite songs 🎶🎶🎶❤️ love it

I like the Clodagh Rodgers version---I always thought this tune had to be the inspiration for Lost in Love by AIr Supply
