He could have done it. The role of Carter is not so different from many roles Martin Lawrence has played himself in the past. Tucker did a good job with the part, but for all we know Lawrence could have been just as good. It's an interesting thought, but when it comes to cases like this, I always try to think: 'let's just be happy that the guy that did get the role did a good job with it.' And that's definitely the case here, so we got nothing to complain about.

I went to see this opening night with some friends when we were 15. When it showed George saved them, our entire theater erupted into cheers. The cheers got even louder when War started playing.
