Loved the "Professionalism just dripping off me."
Hahaha, well I might as well own up to my mistakes!!
Thank you! The texture!
How fun to see these materials in action! Cool work. ❤
Thank you. Xxx
Great to see how you add that texture, thank you! I've just entered the realms of Xpandaprint & heat tools..... I am clearly not using the Xpandaprint thinly enough! My experimental pieces came out extremely puffy 🤦♀️ On my work I used it so thinly you can hardly see it, but I got scared seeing other textiles on the piece start to shrink & burn. Practice makes perfect comes to mind!
Xpandaprint I find works much better when it is thin, as bits can come away from the really puffed up sections. That is the joy of experimental pieces though, no pressure to get things right!
Practice makes perfect or "go with what you get and cover up the wobbly bits!" 😉
Ooh! I am using an plate for deviled eggs as a paint pallette as well! Mine has blue chickens painted on it lol 😂
Oh that sounds lovely!! Xxx
Great video Ruth. It's really interesting to see the different techniques used to create texture in your work. I have used tyvek but not the other two.
Aww thank you! I am glad the videos are useful. Xxx
