Can definitely tell Manitou is owned by BRP now. I own a Seadoo so I'm not a hater, I also know PWC engines don't last as long as 4 stroke outboards. If expect this to have similar performance to a 300 horse outboard but probably is less efficient as jet drives are known to be. While the big back deck is convenient, the plastic construction looks cheap.
Little pro tip for you new boaters with too much money, Put a regular outboard (or two even) on it, and save yourself years of headaches, submerged motors, BRP is truly run by idiots.

It’s not a jet drive. But it is an underwater outboard. Yikes.
