My favorite episodes were Just my Bill, Knight Moves,Chariots of Gold, Custom made Killer, and Many Happy returns because in those episodes, when Michael and the foundation close in on the bad guys, they bring the cops.
Good episode. Love seeing KITT in the rain wipers and all Very rare to see! @3:40 one of the best Turbo Boost scenes looked like a real Trans Am possibly one of the train wreck cars? No miniatures here like in season 2 and beyond.
I remember this chase scene from a repeat telecast on Star World quite vividly. I was staying with my uncle's for my summer holidays in my middle school.
Well by the look of your name are you an Indian? If so star world telecasted the Reboot in 2009 for Asia Pacific ( India Included). But this classic series was never telecasted going by my knowledge.
I just have 1 question. When those 2 cops pulled up, didn't they find it odd that Michael just handed them a suspect without getting all the facts first? I thought taking statements was a police procedure.
Well, a few of the cars were modified as blind drive vehicle's. Joe from knight rider historians goes into detail about it, but, one of the seats were pulled out and a molded special seat was fitted into the car where they could drive the cars around and have the illusion of the car driving around by itself. Universal (I think) had I think it was at least 2 cars for it, one car had the drivers seat pulled out and the other had the front passenger seat pulled out. How they did the passengers side vehicle is think of a car -similar- to one of those vehicles modified for drivers ed, but in the universal way. There was controls on the passengers side that was linked to the main drivers side that allowed for them to drive the car on the passengers side.
Forty years old and still the coolest TV car of them all.
General Lee
@@michaelgrant7530 Who says we don't have flying cars, yet? General Lee and KITT!
When KITT tells the bad guy to pull over, you can clearly see the driver's shadow behind the driver's seat.
Just can't resist any of the KR episodes !!!! It was a pure treasure trove of clean wholesome fun & entertainment !!!!

“The name’s Knight...Michael Knight”
“And you are?”
“Bond, James Bond”
Sounds soo similar.
Tony Dow was a good actor. He’ll be greatly missed.
This was so cool KITT of course, I sure do miss seeing them

First scene: viping dry windshield
Second: wet windshield
Love how it's raining most of the time throughout this episode🌧
KITT's seat becomes a hidden driver (auto cruise) Anyway favorite TV show in my childhood 1980's.
Remember that time Michael had to reinflate KITT's auto cruise with his mouth? Or maybe that was Airplane.
Despite being made in the 1980's, this show visual style hold up pretty well and comes of as very cinematic.
Michael and KITT are my heroes ❤️

@@nilanjangupta763 Not 2009, probably before 2005 if I remember correctly. Yes, I am an Indian staying in India.
2002....2003. Star World brought it to us. First aired in the mid 80s here in India, Doordarshan.
@@rajarshidas743 In Doordarshan it was broadcast before 2000. I remember seeing this particular chase scene in Star World.
I wish the series had more self driving KITT.
3:47 The stuntman's jacket layed loose in the car. In the jump it got weightless and went out the window, where it got stuck. (true story)
Thanks for ruining the illusion.
@@owlsmolDon't worry, we' ll have selfdriving cars and ai talking computers for real in the naar future😂
After reading the description, it makes me wonder what would have happened to Michael and James Bond ever met.
Interesting and ambitious cross over indeed.
“Pay attention, Mr. Knight”
Kind of did happen in Die Another Day. The rocket missile dodge scene is straight from Knight Rider Knight of the Drones.
They would work on the good side.
😆
Hey! A Members Only jacket! Pure '80s style right there.
Thank you very much, Knight Rider Official, for uploading this interesting video so that I can see it again.
Please have a nice day today. ©®

The same Chevy that they used in Lost Knight. The guy in the blue jacket looked A LOT like Michael Long
It could've been him. I've seen some of the same actors in different episodes.
@@detmstr341 True. Even the heartthrob Ann Turkel was 2 different villains. Lance LeGualt the same.
The guy in blue was Marshall Teague.
@@stewartlynch1284 who was another talented actor. Larry Anderson played Michael Long.
Just like Michael and K.I.T.T., nobody does it better. Knight rider is now repeating on Freeview channel 41 in the U.K @ 7PM.
Let's be honest 40 years still the most beautiful car in the world
Rip Wally
So much rain in this episode.
Winter of ‘83 was a very wet winter in so cal, which is when this episode was filmed.
That's true. An Episode in which it also rained more often was: Race for Life Season 2
KNIGHT RIDER 1982 1986
Armand decided to go work for Brad Wesley after he got out of prison.
Wally Cleaver on Knight Rider
Where's the Beav and Eddie Haskell??? lmao
At 4:30 you can clearly see there is someone in the driver seat
Knight rider was very advanced for the 80-90s
Season 1 was good when it really got going but the earliest episodes (not specifically this one) clearly had growing pains
Ooh.....Eagle Sedan.....
who owns the writes to Pontiac designs, and why arent they making an EV in the KITT Shape. it would sell like crazo
GM, I assume. If they thought electric Firebirds with a very outdated body style would sell, they'd build them.
@@colormedubious4747Dodge did so with their EV Chargers. Taking basis from the early models.
@@Devi1_Z A perfect combination. The insufferable arrogance of a Charger owner combined with the insufferable smugness of a Tesla owner! 🤣
@@colormedubious4747 The name “Charger” also works for an electric car.
did the ending theme song came from stretched tape or what?
El Auto Fantástico, nadie lo hace mejor, capítulo 21 de la temporada 1
I thought this would be a collection of scenes where people saw KITT driving himself.
Considering how pathetic Tesla self driving is, it will be forty years before we get a car like KITT.
Michael Knight driving a rambler is a classic 😂😂😂

Tesla before Tesla...
This cabin. was also used in Simon and Simon
4:07-4:15
The woman is Gail Edwards who played Danny Tanner's girlfriend on Full House years later.
So Michael pulls up to the cabin and the occupants don't realise..hmmm it can only happen on Knight rider
K2000🎵
That Amc that Michael is driving,, has a Pontiac engine..
Or it could have the AMC 4.2I6
I was thinking the four cylinder if that was it maybe
@bohoward8945 Yeah, they had the Iron Duke commonly, though in the Sx4/Kammback and the early years the 4.2 did out sell it though
Sweet
SPM
Wait kitt was driving himself
He was designed to.😁😁😁💖💖💖
