Thank you for doing this comparison, I also agree the offer of a fixed cost is tempting and why I have decided to test out aftershoot. I didn't really fully enjoy the culling aspect, but if I keep this offer I may have to give it another chance as they improve the features. Hoping their new Culling in option is sort of like Narrative Select.
yeah, same here, I've been paying After shoot and just keep it for the highlights but im I was ready to ditch it cause no good at all to cull a wedding with my style... maybe the edit now make it work

My first impression after using the beta edit for one session is very promising. The only thing holding me back from using Imagen more often is the cost/image policy (being that is cloud-based processing). This fixed cost of 120$ year with unlimited projects is amazing and I hope it will remain like that because I really consider subscribing after the trial period. So far so good with about 60-70% of the images tested in the project (about 600 edits), being that the training was done with only 2600 images.
@@lemuelconde Interesting what you're saying, being that one week ago I opted for the annual subscription pro plan and it was $120/year, editing included. Maybe because it's still in beta (?). Well... I hope it will stay like that at least for the first year 😅
For Aftershoot, can you create more than one edit profile for the program to analyze, as my edits of concert photography are very different than sports, landscape or wildlife, etc.? Also, does Aftershoot use the LR editing tools, such that when I import into LR, I will see the changes Aftershoot made on the LR sliders and can easily tweak in LR from there?
Thanks Martin for a very informative video. i didn't realise that Aftershoot now had an editing capability. We are school photographers so volume is an issue for us

Very cool. But I would like to see the RAW image so I can compare.
Great take Martin.
