That's neat to have around! I also jumped when the explosion happened :D FWIW, Sta-bil and other fuel stabilizers are 100% needed for anything that might sit. I have not had [knock on wood] a single issue with bad gas in the 15+ years I've been using fuel stabilizer in all my gas cans and winterized tools/motorcycles. Great video, Eric!
Seems pretty cool I have a couple cans I use no new ones I can’t even figure them out. How hard is it to get out of the truck when full? If I remember right from my racing days a gallon of gas is 6lbs
It's a but hard to get in and out of the truck when full. I just pull it to the edge and slide it down. It sure has come in handy in my garage. Happy holidays to you and your family. 🎄
pretty cool concept for sure. Beats lugging the gas can around. Problem with loping the pump off and putting electric is you would have to carry a battery around unless you get a battery powered one then you will probably lose your hose length.
That's a good idea, Eric. I have 6 X 20 litre Jerry cans, that's 120 litres (32 gallons) total of fuel, mainly for my Generator as we lose power during Tropical Cyclones. I use a product called Fuel Doctor (same as your Sta Bil) which I add to the each jerry can (only 5ml per 20 litre) this give the fuel a 3 year life. I date each can with month and year. I have found that fuel that 2 years old is still good to go. Cheers
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures It's quite enticing when I look at my pile of 6 differently sized and different brand fuel cans. I like some nice organisation!
5:13 Thanks Eric, for the cardio jump start. I did not die, so I have that going for me... hehe To bad the fuel caddy does not have a lift. Gravity fed is always reliable.
I smiled at I listened to your ever increasing list of things requiring gasoline. I have a One gallon gas can and it lasts most of the year. The only thing I put fuel in is a small lawn mower and a seldom used snow blower. All the scooters and motorcycles are fueled up at a station down the road. Some of the high compression engines need premium fuel. The others regular. Imagining all the stuff you have to fuel and take care of just makes my brain itch. I'm still trying to get back to that place a friend told me about in college... "If you want to be successful in life, make sure all your possessions will fit in the back of your pickup truck." Man, what a failure I am. On an unrelated note -- that explosion scared the shit out of me. I guess I'm tired...
Any gas and a Sapper DO NOT mix not now not EVER !!!🤣🤣🤣 But now that I have to change the spark plugs on my Road King I have a two gallon can that I can go fill up and then top off when done with said maintenance job… Plus I have the German tanker that holds 7,9 gal of fuel next to the RK🤣🤣🤣 Great share nonetheless there Eric !!!
What can I say? I love my gad tools and use them year round. Not having to unto the gas station many times saves me time. Happy holidays to you and your family, Bobby. 🎄
I'd never heard of these before, an interesting product. Probably way too big for my needs, my ute gas tank only holds 40 litres & my Postie bike 5 litres! My thoughts on extended camping trips are to take 2 10l containers. That way if there's a leak I don't lose all my back up fuel in one hit. Which in remote areas of Oz could be disastrous.
It's overkill for your needs, for sure. I thought i would share a few thoughts on an item that sure has come in handy in my garage. Happy holidays to you and your family. 🎄
Until my last job which was about 18 years working at the school prior to that I pretty much did maintenance and apartments and boy did I bring home gas cans. I probably gave away 20 or 30.if not more and ,I kept quite a few but I can see that's a good idea yeah I'm always fiddling with a motorcycle and taking the tank off for some reason.
That will not work for me. I use a small Red Plastic 5L (1+ US Gallon) Jerry Can which is not that ideal either. I'd like to buy a Special Used Jerry Can that is made especially for filling Motorcycles, as I have 5 Bikes and I top them off at home all the time. I am a big believer in having my Bikes always filled to the top to prevent Rust from forming in the tank. I also wish I had a very small 1L (about 1/4 US Gallon) Gas container (that would be very portable for on my Bike) but find them way to expensive.
It's amazing the number of gad driven things I have in my garage. This setup works very nicely for my needs. So, I thought i would share a few thoughts. :)
I have no issue with your videos, just sharing my wants and needs when it comes to Jerry Cans. I see a Large Red Plastic Jerry Can at Canadian Tire Store. It has a small plastic Jerry Can attached to it, like maybe for 2-Stroke Motor Oil. I am very attempted to buy it and somehow cut the small one off the big one. They kinda are plastic welded together, separating them would work really good for me & the Price would be reasonable. However mess up the cut and one or both the Jerry Can would leak. I might even make them weaker. 😞
Okay I jumped when the explosion occurred. 😂
Good to know review
That was my attempt to make a boring video a little exciting. 😂 Hapoy holidays to you and your family.
Me too! And a little pee came out. Thanks Eric 😂
@midengn5478 😂😂😂
I only have 4 5 gallon gas tanks for overlanding and general use. But yeah having something to put gas in is the way to go.
It helps when I have so many thirsty items in my garage. Happy holidays to you and your family. 🎄
Useful device. Once again, I know more now than I knew ten minutes ago, thanks to a Kraken review. And you GOT me with your fireball overlay. Cool!
My sense of humor is a bit off. 😂 Happy holidays to you and your family. 🎄
Handy bit of kit right there .That'll be hinted to Santa this Christmas for sure .Hopefully, I made it off of the naughty list in time .ha ha ha ...
It really is handy when you have many items to gas up. This is a very boring video to watch though. .
I'll get a good laugh driving my Tesla to refill the gas tank for my garage! 😂
@@RidingandWrenching I never thought about that. 😂😂😂
Sounds like it's a great find. 👍
Just an item that I've learned to really appreciate using vs. running to the gas station many times. Thanks for stopping by, Rick.
We need a few of those for bikes, 4 wheelers and motorcycles. 😎👍👍
Good deal Eric
Thank you, Larry. Happy holidays to you and your family.
very convenient to have that for all the machines you got running.

Agreed, an absolute must have if storing gas. Thanks for stopping by, John.
It’s a great asset for sure, we have one at home!! And because we are used to having one, our fifth wheel has an onboard fueling station too!!!

Excellent tool tip to replace all those 5 gallon cans i have around 👍

Great video Eric. I’ve thought about buying one for 10yrs. I still have the 5gal cans, 6 of them, and hard to replace what I’ve used for 50yrs.
If it works, don't fix it. 😉 Happy holidays to you and your family. 🎄
Definitely handy Eric ! We tend to have too many gas driven toys. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, amigo
I know o do, but I really do use them all. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it. 💪

Can it be used as gravity feed if it was elevated higher than what you are filling??
I believe so. I need to think about that. Gas weighs 6 lbs per gallon, and at 15 gallons, it's more a question of can I hoist up.
