Funny, I thought it was quite intelligent. Reject a call, just flick the wheel. Button to answer then tap the wheel to hangup. I'm not a rocket scientist but this is pretty straight forward.
Agreed! I’ve had a Cardo G4 for about 15 years and a G9 for about 7 years. Both very easy & intuitive to use. Bought a Freecom 2x recently (only because buttons on the G4 and G9 finally started to perish after a lot of use over many years in all weather) and can’t believe how comparatively complex it is to use, despite having no additional features. Whoever designed the Freecom is an idiot trying to justify his/her existence.
Is it possible to connect to my freecom 4x an another one unit of the freecom 4x as rider A and second one of 2x and as rider B and still talk in conference mode?
If you ride with the same rider will the cardo intercom automatically pair for each session? Or, do you have to repair if you haven't ridden together in a week or so.

My friend and I each have a Freedom 2x. When we paired our units to our iPhones and then paired the intercom, one of the units didn’t pick up the navigation sound from the phone. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Most bikes come with infotainment these days. How should those be paired? As GPS or as a second phone. I have tried a second phone, it pairs, but does not appear to connect to the second device on startup, only the initial pair. Your instructions and manuals need to cover this in depth.
I figured it out for Spotify Play...hit the music icon, on the top of the screen. To the right of Music is an icon that looks like a radio wave, click on it. That will display all your music sources on your phone. Select your source and there you go.
Cardo units are by far the best intercom, but i have to mention than in foreign countries we have different accent so in order to make voice commands to work you have to include some variations...
About 4x. If i am connected to A and B rider and one of them is connected to C rider, how can i talk only to C rider without A or B listening? Is it possible?

Same here, incredibly disappointing. Wish I went with my first choice (packtalk edge) instead of freecom 4x. No one can really hear what I’m saying, keeps cutting my voice out mid sentence.
Is there any way to actually get the 2 pieces of garbage that came together in the same package to actually connect to each other? I don't need my intercom to launch the damned space shuttle, I would like it to actually connect to it's counterpart so that we can hear each other!
I actually found it simple. I had my helmet with me and paused each time he went thru something and tried and tested it with my partners helmet. Can't fault this video.

Absolutely! One button to answer a call, but another to cancel, another button to reject a call! It's like someone was paid to make it complex.

Plus on mine, the buttons are very hard to push. The speakers sound great but I’m frustrated with function.

I just bought a Freecom 2x today. Had no issue playing music. I have android and use Spotify.

I experienced the same issue when bluetooth connected to my bike’s infotainment system - stopped when that was disconnected.
