Tells unintentionally scary stories where the main character(s) die to scare his kin from wandering away or get curious.
Marlin saw his one wife Coral killed by a barracuda and he was powerless to save her, so he's more than understandably overprotective. Mack on the other wing, probably had close calls with predators as a duckling because his parents let him wander off too often to potentially dangerous places to play and explore, and he was in a word, "scared straight" and resolved to be a better father to his own children.

Like what is up with Mack?! He’s supposed to tell a bedtime story to help his kids (mostly) fall asleep peacefully, not scare them and keep them awake all night! Thank goodness Pam came into the rescue. I mean Dax he’s just dumbfounded but I feel so bad for Gwen. lol😂😂😂

I think it's normal and every parent does this at some point. Not once had anyone had parents saying stuff like

Yeah, me too. I laughed so loud and so hard at the whole "squished ducklings". For like a week after my daughter would randomly look at me and go "Hey, mom...squished ducklings" and I would burst out laughing remembering this scene.
