Topic = اجماع AJMA = Collectively Consensus [ Take advises & by consensus or voting follow majority ] ******************************************* Part 171 Response to 23 questions by Javed Ahmed Ghamidi 2nd episode on this topic ******************************************* Main points of this lecture by sobia bhatti ******************************************* When we take advises for any decision than sometime we don’t face any objections & by consensus اتفاق رائے we implement but sometimes people have different opinions than by voting we will follow majority & don’t disturb system] *******************************************Surah Shurah verse 38 by Amra Hum Shura Bayna Hum verse we got broad meanings of taking advise ( مشورہ ) , here these three words have broad meaning for showing implication sentence (جملے کی تالیف )here God said take advise for collectively system ( just like voting) . AMAR means any work SHURA means take advises (for running collective activity or issue ) . *** Some scholars argue for taking advise (مشورہ) God told “surah Al Imran verse 159 “ , Here God told to prophet Muhammad get people opinions during taking any decisions . Here taking advise is not for collective system, individually person will take advise. Prophet could accept or reject people opinions. *******************************************( **5:27** ) Implications مضمرات = According surah Al Imran 159 verse when a person takes advise than accepting & rejection people advise will be person will (مرضی ). *** In surah Shurah verse 38 told us take advise in society matters ( for example Muslims would be choose leader by voting or consensus اتفاق رائے) *** Now I m going to explain word AJMA اجماع consensus , for example 10 brothers will decide who will get that house , If all brothers agree on one decision that means “ AJMA اجماع “ held between them , I mean collectively consensus اتفاق رائے brothers agreed on one decision, otherwise by voting they will decide who will get house. ******************************************* ( 10:45) = Shortly I want to explain for اجماعی فیصلے اتفاق رائے سے collectively consensus decisions Muslims take advises according surah Shurah verse 38 , Muslim have freedom of speech and he can tell his point of view but in the matters of society Muslims will not reject majority & consensus اتفاق رائے . *** World democracy is running by this point , everyone has freedom of speech but everyone will follow majority because consensus اتفاق رائے is very important for society peace. It doesn’t mean by following u will leave ur school of thoughts. *******************************************Molana Mododi also explained in Tafheem ul Quran ( book 4 page 509 ) that Muslims would follow majority . ******************************************* some examples = If I don’t agree that mosque point is not proper but by collectively consensus or majority society has announced this is new mosque for town than we will go there for offer Namaz , one more example if I don’t agree on چاند The first moon , but state announce lunar has appeared & Holy Ramzan has started than I will accept society consensus , same we will accept Eid day because society announced that day , just we will present our arguments & reasoning .*** we will not upset society decisions, because by majority or consensus اتفاق رائے in collective system they announced any decision. ******************************************* Again I am telling Quran don’t against freedom of speech . By different point of views thinking process start & we have content for more research, but Muslims will follow majority consensus . ******************************************* Q( 17:57 ) Will i follow the Jihad war if society announce to fight? Ans = If by war state is doing atrocity or tyranny than i will not go in war , If Muslim state is not doing atrocity & for taking people consensus state is announcing war decision than I will accept state decision. ******************************************* If state or society demand any illegal activities from myself than I will not follow & bear consequences نتائج , may be society locked me in jail or tease me . *******************************************(**18:37** ) In caliphate, democratic system or آمریت dictatorship all r giving freedom of speech to people for present their point of views but by law these system don’t allow to disturb society now citizens will follow law . ******************************************* (20:35) Issues raise when society don’t gather on one point with consensus اتفاق رائے . In this moment people will follow state (or society ) collectively consensus or majority decision . *******************************************رفع یدین RAFA YADAIN is individual matter accept or reject advise on this matter is personal matter ( I have told surah Al Imran verse 159 was talking take advise individually & accept or reject was prophet Muhammad will مرضی . ) *** Here according surah Shura verse 38 is talking take advises collectively in society and by consensus or follow majority take ur decisions . People will follow majority for society peace. ******************************************* (21:28) “ ILTAZAMA JAMAT “ prophet Muhammad also told importance of consensus & society majority worth , citizen will not go against , all citizens will offer Eid Namaz on fix day . Prophet Muhammad said if citizen will not follow جماعت collective system or state law because of his individual point of view they will be die in low literacy or they will be just like ignored جاہل لوگ people . حکم قرآن اور اصول علم سے انحراف کی وجہ سے یہ امت خلافت کی پٹڑی سے اتری ہے۔ چودہ سو سال کا عرصہ ہو چلا ہے سیدنا حسن رضی اللّٰہ عنہ کے بعد سے آج تک امت کو اس کی مرضی کے امیر چننے کا حق ہی نہیں دیا گیا۔ امت کا اجتماعی نسق اہل حاکم ہی چلا سکتا ہے لیکن حکومت کو میراث کہہ کر باپ کے بعد اس کے بیٹے یا خاندان ہی میں سے کسی کو حاکم بنا لیا جائے گا تو امت کا اجتماعی شعور کیسے ترویج پائے گا۔ خلافت میراث نہیں ہے، یہ تو اللّٰہ کا حکم ہے کہ زمین پر جب اس نے اپنا دین مکمل کر دیا ہے تو حکم بھی اس کا نافذ رہے۔ سورۃ حجرات میں اللّٰہ پاک نے تنبیہ کی ہے کہ میرے نبی محمد رسول اللّٰہ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی آواز سے اونچی آواز نہ کرنا ورنہ تمہارے اعمال غارت کر دیئے جائیں گے، جب کہ امت نے کیا کیا کہ رسول اللّٰہ کے لائے ہوئے نظام کے مقابل اپنی خواہش سے حکمران بننے والے کی اطاعت قبول کر لی اور آج تک اس کا دفاع کیا جاتا ہے۔ اس وقت بھی صورتحال یہ ہے کہ شاید ہی کوئی اسلامی ملک ہو جہاں پر عوام کا چنا ہوا حقیقی نمائندہ موجود ہو۔ انا للّٰہ وانا الیہ راجعون
