My THRIFTED Vintage Valentine Home: Thrifter Junker Vintage Hunter Weekly VLOG! This week's vlog is a bit boring, but I'm ok to admit that! I show you what items will be available during my upcoming live vintage sales and we do a bit of a haul from a few local antique malls I visited. Re your kitty that chews wires. My Bebe chews phone cords too. She is 3 years old and has been chewing since a kitten. I have tried chew toys and chew sticks. She prefers cords. So...I have just had to be vigilant about keeping them way up. Like on the fridge. LOL!

I have a chewer cat also. He loves to chew plugs but when I saw what happened to cat after he was electrocuted, he lived, I knew I had to do something. I discovered bandage tape that is coated with an awful tasting stuff. Vets use this to wrap wounds to stop cats and dogs from licking and chewing on it. I wrapped my plugs in this tape. He doesn’t chew them any more. My cat also chewed corners of furniture. I got those rubber child proof bumper corner covers that stick on. Solved that chewing issue too. You can get both on Amazon. And that doll is Jeff Jeff.

Cats are attracted to some plastics. The only thing you can do, is be proactive and find ways to "cat proof" those particular things. I roll up my charging cord and tuck it under my phone. It helps if you have a pop socket.
Baby Skootles would make me nervous , too! Maybelle is very vocal!

We have had to cats that chewed phone charger cords. We got the cloth wrapped ones and that seemed to stop them.

My niece had a cat that chewed. Nothing seem to work to get him to stop. She just tried very hard to hide all cords that she could. He chewed a cord on the furnace and the Christmas tree lights. Good luck on this endeavor. Love you channel.

Maybelle! I love her little tail going back and forth like a clock ticking!! We had a bitting cat on all the wire especially when computer mice had a cord! We tried using a spray that doesn’t taste good. It did work.

For Colonel chewing, they have sprays you can use that deter chewing, marking, etc. I’ve had to use that for my cat when they were a kitten, because she used to chew on the lamp cord.
For the iPad I was researching the cameras after we talked about it (I’m also looking into 1) and yes, newer iPads have better cameras and the pros have the high-def cameras like iPhones

To have my own vintage shop
They make sprays that are bitter tasting that you could apply on a cord (Id use a Q-tip instead of spraying it all over to make less mess) and they also make cord covers but that wouldnt work well with headphones… but it would work well with other cords. Also, I would give him toys that have strings on them- this might act as a distraction from cords you dont want him chewing on
