Oh lord, this reminds me why I quit playing violin lol. I never tried to get into drama with anyone I played with, but my conductor in high school sure knew how to make a toxic environment. Even now a few years later, every time my friend complains about his stand partner being insufferable, I can't help but be glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. In a weird way this audio feels sort of cathartic for me, I wish I could have said a lot of those exact same complaints to some of the people I've played with over the years, but with the added negative that I knew them outside of rehearsal and they were generally just not great people. One of my biggest fears was coming off in that same way to other people because I didn't really talk much, and I don't think that getting put at second chair over someone who absolutely deserved it more because of their beef with our director helped. God, that turned into a rant. I haven't thought of that stuff in a while lmao, but all personal baggage aside this was a great audio! I love your enemies to lovers stories, I think I'm going to go listen to the class president series again after this. I think it would be interesting to see a part 2 to this audio as well, but as long as you're still uploading I'll take what I can get!

People need to get over themselves! It's probably largely due to just general high school immaturity as well. Sorry to dredge up old annoyances, but glad to hear it was a little relieving as well! Ok but this audio lowkey had me crying at the insults, like this is kinda sad thinking about this from the listeners perspective. Maybe I'm overreacting but imagine setting up an elaborate plan to blind date someone you liked only to have them tell you they hated you multiple times, and then find out that apparently the other people in the orchestra saw you as a mega bitch. Ouch😢 Idk this audio kinda plays into a fear of mine of people hating me for behaving in a way that I never realised was rude.

I’ve been in orchestra for five years now, and I’ve never left first violin. For 2 years I was second chair next to my bestie. Last year I was second chair, and this year I’m first. There was always the is girl in my class that would challenge me for my chair placement. She was third. Finally she stopped when she actually moved down. The next year she didn’t even make it in first violin.
I can agree as and orchestra person that it can be this competitive. I hope to see more orchestra stuff but with other types of strings.(I’m a bassist)

AHHHHHH! Tanu this is fantastic!!!! I love this vid so much, I was never in orchestra but I did band for awhile and I definitely had myself a bit of a rival! (And she was sosososososo CUTE it was infuriating I could never take my eyes off her, maybe that’s why I never won our little contests? Hard to read sheet music when your gawking at the prettiest girl in the room) Also I just want to make it clear that I would NEVER mistake maroon for purple. Orchestra rival deserves better.

@panwithnoplan3583 To be fair, I bet a purple beret is difficult to procure on short notice hehe. My time spent in high school orchestra prepared me for this audio, but all the band friends I've had since are what inspired me to make this one...they're a different breed. We love a good rival. AY! though i was always a chorus person, i do play violin in my free time :D always loved the orchestra though- in fact this year our schools dance is collaborating with the school orchestra (which is genuinely so exciting)

i was listening again to help with my script and plot writing, and i've only just noticed that it seems like you really like music! i dont mean to assume but compared to other videos, i feel like this video didn't have to be linked with orchestra, but it is! and i think thats pretty cool! by any chance are you into music in general? i saw this and your music tutor video and it seemed like you genuinely knew a lot about music theory, and that you might take an interest in it. if so, then that's really awesome.
@vroomvroomvroom889 Music is like my favorite thing on this planet actually...the piano in the background of this one and at the ends of all the other videos is played by me!! So music-based audios are right up my street. The music tutor one was just me showing off haha and I do have plans for a longer piano sleep aid audio soon. I’ve been in orchestra for five years now, and I’ve never left first violin. For 2 years I was second chair next to my bestie. Last year I was second chair, and this year I’m first. There was always the is girl in my class that would challenge me for my chair placement. She was third. Finally she stopped when she actually moved down. The next year she didn’t even make it in first violin.
