One comic that ppl may want to look at is Star Wars # 16 (1977 series) which is the 1st appearance of Valance the Hunter. This character has a real cult following dating back to his early appearances in the first Star Wars series and he is gaining popularity in the new Bounty Hunters series. WIth the popularity of The Mandalorian and bounty hunters in that universe generally, I think it is a smart buy. Rumors are circulating that he will appear on The Mandalorian and he may even get a shot at the big screen. His debut issue has been climbing but it is still affordable. May not be for much longer though. Cheers and keep up the good work.
I watched this vid earlier this morning, went over to Ebay and got the Avengers Terminatrix complete 4 issue mini-series for $6.00. That wasn't too much risk there.
as always, great info and spec, Dave! I look forward to your spec videos EVERY TIME! Thanks for keeping it up and finding specs for those of us on an "everyman" budget!
Hi Shane I decided to change up the set a bit. Put up some key books I own. I never paid more than 150$ for any of these. Most well under 100$. Of course that was awhile ago now. Thanks for watching
Hi Ted I was doing them every week at first, but it became too much. I almost quit doing videos all together. Instead of quitting I decided every two weeks. Its been good so far.
Nice picks 👍 way ahead of you on the first one lol . But the rest very interesting except star wars of course 🤔 i was into star wars the originals only untill disney ruined that to .thats why i have bo interest in it . Cool channel 👍 keep it up .
Hi Johnny Well.. your not wrong. I was more referring to this particular story line in marvel Presents. But yes they started calling him the weapon x in hulk 180.
People forget that the Weapon X story has already been told in the FOX X-Men movie series. And it was well done, with Hugh Jackman. Why would Marvel want to do it again?
Nobody is forgetting anything. But those movies were made by Fox. Marvel/ Disney plans on doing their own take on things. It is not a question of IF, only a question of WHEN. As far as being well done, that is up for debate. I thought Hugh Jackman was great, and whoever follows up will have big shoes to fill. The first XMen movie was quite good and I thought Wolverine was introduced well. But the movies that followed up were not as good. XMen FIrst Class and Logan were both great but the rest could have been better .
Hi Dakoit Cave I hear what you are saying. But that weapon x scene in the movie was short and not the focus. I think they will want to do their own MCU take on it.
Hello Dave. I appreciate the show and yes I already own all the books you recommended on this episode. Thank you for helping us be ahead of the game before the books get pricier.
I picked up MCP 72 - 79 about two months ago. 1st time I had read it. Great Barry Smith artwork. I am going to get 80 and keep going as long as the Weapon X storyline goes I guess. Love the covers and 77 is one of the best.
Can you do a show of what you predict will be the hot blue chip issues 10 years from now? You know once the todays blue chip issues are out of reach what are the top 10 blue chip issues 10 years from now? Could be a fun show, thank you for your videos.
@@dakoitcave817 Money is a big reason. Disney wants to put their own spin on things, and Wolverine is the second most popular Marvel character after Spider Man. Bankable . You are right, it was not that long ago. But it wasn't long after Raimi's Spider Man films we had Garfield suit up all over again either. Its a money train that drives these things unfortunately. And Disney is not going to pass up the opportunity to cash in on their prize character now that the rights are back in their hands.

Hi Boxing Bear
Definitely a good book to buy. Undervalued. That's why I used it in my star wars special back in September 2020. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the insight!! Just picked up Marvel Presents 77!! 🤩
Hi Ja Rodz
Good one. Once that people read the story or someone tells them about it. I feel that #77 could get hot.
Interesting specs. The other Weapon X book is going crazy right now.
I watched this vid earlier this morning, went over to Ebay and got the Avengers Terminatrix complete 4 issue mini-series for $6.00. That wasn't too much risk there.
Hi Kelvin
Great buy. Council of cross time Kangs. For cheap.

They called Wolverine Weapon X way before 1991
Hi Johnny

Me too. Great book

Hi Logan
Great you have these already.
You have to make a video showing us your grails man!
Done
I don’t read my comics... I experience them.😁 Good tips Dave... I think I have the 3 older comics on your list. Take care amigo.👊

How come your audio is always soooooo low!? Love the info though!
Thanks for the list. I will keep my eyes 👀 open.
Hi Jerry
Cool. I think there are some good choices here. Nothing to hard to find.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for another batch of spec goodness man!!!

Hi Baldelmar.
That is a great idea. I'll have to think and plan that show. But yeah I can do that. Thanks. Great idea.
Love your videos
Thanks Marino
I appreciate the comment.
Thank you sir!🙂
Hey Dave.
Hi Brian. How ya now?
Can the MCU ever top the Weapon X appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse?
I gotta admit. That was a bright spot in a crappy movie.
That’s what I’m saying. Why is everyone on the Weapon X train when it’s been done? It would be redundant to do it again. It’s not even that old.

Gi Joe # 44 has a bunch of 1st appearances.. and specs on those ?
Hi Ted
Good recommendation. 44 is Undervalued. I've got a copy already, but I should keep my eyes open for a couple copies.
