Tony Orlando and Dawn - Tie A Yellow Ribbon (St Charles IL, Dec 11, 2018)

- Tony Orlando, Joyce Vincent Wilson & Telma Hopkins reunited for a series of Christmas shows in 2018. One of their stops was in St Charles, IL where they played at the iconic Arcada Theatre. It was a fun evening filled with lots of memories, good songs and Christmas spirit! Even Santa Claus came by to sing a few holiday songs with them. It was a night I won't soon forget since I had the priviledge of meeting them before AND after the show! We (my friends and I) presented Joyce Vincent Wilson a box of cupcakes for her birthday with another friend also showering the three members of Dawn T-Shirts!! (He also gave his friends Tony Orlando and Dawn TShirts to wear at the concert). What a night!

I remember and I'm ur age...I hate getting old!😢😢😢
A very fun performance. Makes me happy when I see artists actually enjoying themself.

I love listening to Tony Orlando's music. He still has the whole package: great voice, personality that is so down to earth, and humility that's is so refreshing. He loves his fans.
When I was kid I had a major crush on Telma Hopkins and Joyce Vincent Wilson (Dawn). Back in the 70's, I watched their TV variety show religiously. 😍
The girls look good, especially Thelma Hopkins ! Good on y'all !
How does Telma look exactly the same?
@@jeffw1267 😍❤💝
It is a song that fills one's heart and one of the most loved all over Latin America.
I love this guy and his patriotism!!
Unfortunately, we cannot say the same thing for McCain.
@@raymccarty4612 Were you shot down over Viet Nam? If not, stfu!
@@womanofsubstance8735 We normally do not speak his name. Hero is never uttered in any case.
he is sich a sweet, warm man ! well done !
The girls look incredible! Love you guys! Voices still beautiful!

Thelma Hopkins is 71. Now way.
They remain youth looking and beautiful they both saved Tony Orlando group
ALWAYS LOVE YOU TONY!!!... YOU STILL THE BEST!!!
Telma Hopkins STAYS booked baby! From Bosom buddies to Alex Haley's Roots: the next generations to getting by, Gimme a Break to family matters to STILL doing shows with Tony Orlando and a slew of countless work..... that's a BLESSING. This younger generation of so called actors, singers & rappers will NEVER be able to have a resume that dates so far back. This is the here today and literally gone tomorrow generation. If you stop trending after 2 days for whatever reason, Hollywood will throw your ass out like Expired milk.

@user-vy4xx2qp3d awww.... my profile pic upset you that much that you felt compelled to leave a reply unrelated to this video???? Good. My job of making a trump fan upset is a success! 😂 (When your own comment backfires)
And no. I'm not reading replies beyond this point

I love that Thelma Hopkins is still with Tony! I remember them all going clear back to the 1970's............
Soy de 1965 pero como me gusta esta música yo creo ya le escuchaba desde el vientre de mi madre que en paz descanse.
Los Tejano favor
Hearing them start to sing this brought goose bumps to me. My uncle Richard Payne was killed in action on July 24th 1966 in Quang Tri Vietnam. He was 20 years old. I was 3.5 years old and have one memory of my Uncle Dickey picking me up while dressed in his US Marines uniform and sitting me on his dresser. He put his wrap hat on me and I turned to look in the mirror. My next memory of him was seeing a casket with a flag draped over it. Many years later this was my Grandads favorite song. As an adult I now know why it was his favorite. He prayed his son would come home but he didn’t as thousands others met the same fate. It hurts me to see our country more divided then ever in our history. May God Bless all who serve our great country. Trump 2020 !! America’s only hope.
And the USA is the only hope for the rest of the world. If the USA falls, then tiranny by Communist China and the leftist liberals will rule over the whole planet. May God bless America.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Yes we should always have our military's back and GOD BLESS TRUMP
So very sorry for your loss....this kind of loss you never get over, but you learn to live with it hopefully...I must disagree with your "only hope" being a man....we MUST AT THIS TIME.. put our FAITH, HOPE, AND TRUST IN THE ONLY FOUNDATION that we can truly experience these as CERTAINTY...in the one who gave his life as ransom..don't lose ❤️...there's always hope in this sure foundation.
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'm in tears after reading your story. Such a touching story, and I'm so sorry for your loss.
They all look great. Tony is 73 years old, we should all look that good at 73! Still love Tony Orlando and Dawn!
He looks fucking awful, double chin, big gut. No fucking neck
He doesn't look in good shape.
He looks like he’s gained quite a bit of weight but that does happen to most of us when we get older.
@@nataliedeshow768 Not THAT much weight. Eating disorder.
mj Rotondi I think he’s struggled with his weight his whole life. He doesn’t look good at all!!
💕 Wow, does this ever take me back ! I love Tony & the ladies !! How many of their songs do we know word for word for all these years ??? 👏🏼😍🙋🏻♀️
Que bonito el pasar de los años y ver que sigan con el mismo equipo muy bien
Always been a fan of Tony Orlando and Dawn. I am 75 years old, and heard him when he first started back in the early sixties. Read about his life story in Wickipedia. I am glad that he has a relationship with the Lord, having received Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Regardless of one's success or failure in life, having faith is the mist important thing, and the most enduring. Warmest regards, JJF
Love the fact that he never forgot about Dawn....
I love the story about John McCain!! I've loved Tony Orlando and Dawn since I first heard them when I was a little girl.
The best trio ever
I used to love watching them when I was little and, wow, both women are still so incredibly beautiful. I wanted to look like Telma Hopkins, which was an impossible dream for a freckled blond haired little girl. Lol
I’m a very pale brunette, born in 1960, Vancouver Canada. I used to watch every single episode of the comedy show, and I’m never going to be Telma Hopkins, either.
Remember you are beautiful no matter!
I saw Tony Orlando in Las Vegas twice back in the late 80" or earl 90's. Once by himself and once with Dawn.
thank you Tony, Thelma and Joyce, you are part of my youth.
Glad your still here.will never forget when you were at the top of the charts.congrats to all of you.

He still performing wow
Thelma Hopkins looks amazing.
I can't tell you how many times I heard this song blasting out of the bar across the street from my house. It was somebody else singing though, and a hundred drunks joining in.
You should start finding out who the drunkards are. They surely have a sorrowful common story....
@@EnriqueRodriguez-kx1yo They are probably all dead because it was 50 years ago and the bar is now a Mexican restaurant.
It’s great to see Tony Orlando and Dawn still performing. God Bless.
