I own one of these Dualtron storms and I haven’t gone over 45mph. That’s pretty crazy! I usually cruise at around 25-30. Love the acceleration though. Gets up all the steepest hills with ease

30 mph is not scary for me at all because I ride in good road conditions. I have been reaching up to 40 mph in good road condition.

Thanks for sharing another fab ride bud. if you thought the Storm was insane.. one of my friends has modded his Hero S10 (single motor... 52v battery 1000W) to run at 75km/h (46.5mph!!!) from it's stock of 55km/h (34mph) which was scary and sketchy in another world point of view lmao... and he isn't finished there lol.. he's looking to up it even more
Same here, I got to ride a Segway ninebot max from my friend who is a neighborhood electrician. His ninebot hits 40mph with 30ah.

Slow down back to 15 mph when you see police officer and police car. If no police officer, no police car and no speed camera around, then you can go much faster!!!

Wow I'm laying here in my bed watching you go at 60 mph and even my muscles are tensed up just watching you fly. You should be wearing gloves, wrist supporters, knee pads, full helmet, and full leather crash siute. But yes the dueltron thunder is for sure a fast scooter. The Bronco is also very fast and as smooth as velvet, but costs $5600 US.🤨🤨😳😳😳👍

My question is safety. I've seen videos that basically tell me I'm sooner or later going to crash. I've seen commercials where a dummy placed in a car going only 20 mph hits a wall and inside that car the dummy is thrown for a loop. Looks painful if a human went through that same test. So what happens to the human body going 60 hitting a road in a scooter crash?

I figured as much but the closest thing I got to a motor cycle in my youth was. Honda Trail 90. Loved that little sucker but that's my experience and I doubt it could hit sixty. I'd get a scooter to run errands, grocery shop, go to the coffee shop etc, speed isn't the number one item I think I need. Hill climbing ability, weight to get it up a long flight of stairs, range to get to the next town over, then last on my needs list is speed. As a general rule I'm never n a rush cause that's the way I like it.
@@jimquinn799 ultra-fast stand-up scooters can work as a loophole in countries (states) where there's no law for them (unlike the license and tax requirements for motorbikes), and the cops don't have the laws to seize them either. I would also assume they're more portable, but I doubt it; for that speed, they're just as heavy as electric mopeds (e.g. 65 kg).

If you're going to go at those speeds then you probably should be wearing motorcycle protective gear, including gloves, elbow and knee pads, and a real moto helmet.

Ok you know what, I finally took my storm out for a ride in rocky point Tampa Florida, it was amazing and then a few days later in Venice beach Los Angeles and I have to say that we are roughly the same weight yet I could not get my scooter up to the speeds you reached. I also noticed though that my battery does not reach the 84.1 volts that minimotors told me it would reach. It only reaches 83.3. This could be detrimental. That 1 bolt maybe more than you think it’s worth. Yeah I reached no speeds close to this. I’m with all the settings maxed out lucky to hit 50 downhill and a steep downhill.

If you travel over 40 mph, you need to wear a lot of protection such as a motorcycle helmet. A motorcycle helmet is the most important one to protect your head.
The fastest scooter speed that I have gone is 45 mph. It feels quite scary, but if road conditions are good and also a good rider then here we go!!
Had anyone been backing out of their driveway you would have had no reaction time to stop, many motorcyclists have bit the dust doing exactly what you're doing in this video, please in the future, ride on roads that don't have these DEADLY hazards.
Also please consider fingerless gloves, jeans, a leather jacket along with a good helmet to keep your brain inside your skull

Dude!!! going that speed down roads with intersections is a recipe for disaster. People on those roads are expecting drivers to be moving at 35mph. They'll pull out on you thinking you're only going 30-40mph only to find out that they misjudged your speed. On a scooter, that car is gonna win and you're going to be tomato soup on the road. Wear gear and find a safer road for that. Most deadly motorcycle incidents occur in in-town roads with intersections. Honestly, this thing is more motorcycle than scooter.

These people for one can't hear you, cant see you (even during the day) and they damn surr arent anticipating you to be doing 55mph on a scooter so their brain is naturally going to automatically think scooter = 25mph MAX, LOL. The guys I roll with are on all the big dog scooters and we're all FULLY GEARED UP like were on motorcycles. Old man once told me. Don't prepare for the ride, prepare for the slide!
Also, after having one for a month now with speeds capable in excess of this one. It is MOST DEFINITELY more motorcycle than scooter. Hopefully, they dont regulate these things.
