IamSnippe That turn begins at 3:00, when she untaps with Candelabra already on the board. She High Tides, Floats Mana, untaps with Candelabra, Time Spirals, and then he uses Pyroblast / Mindbreak. Only two spells from her that turn. The activation of Candelabra does not count, nor does his Pyroblast (which I think is what he was thinking)
It is the responsibility of both players, primarily, to maintain a proper board state. He made a mistake and she missed it. Both equally responsible in the eyes of competitive magic. There's no way a game loss would ever be issued in a situation like that unless the judge determined Shippy intended to cheat.
First off If you bring a deck to a major tournament you should grind it out for a few weeks or months to prepare You don’t play a deck you aren’t familiar with
Blue is so f..ing over-powered when compared with the other four colors. There is a reason why the double lands (the real ones and with blue-island in them) are way too much expensive than the others not containing blue. Also half the cards being banned-restricted in Magic are blue.
I'm surprised he didn't get issued a game loss. He did (accidentally) cheat, which shut down the combo turn she most likely would have won.
candelabra, high tide, time spiral. there were 3.

Alright, yeah. I thought it was the turn she played the candelabra. That is a surprise that he didn't have to take a loss, then.

Just a guy looking for this variation.

Feline accidentally shuffled her time spiral in the 3rd game
Oops nvm missed the part where she exiled it

True, though I always feel the caster is more culpable in these situations. I mean, he is the one running it in his deck, after all.
