Enjoyed collaborating with you, man!!! It was fun putting this together. We were just getting warmed up!!! You’re doing GREAT things!!! Keep going!!! 😊JM
^Legend.
love your drumming man !! cheerss !!
All my respect mr Moffett.
You’re amazing, man. Thank you!
That was awesome!
Recording vocals to Jonathan’s drumming has always been sort of a bucket list thing for me. Very proud of this! Go subscribe to his channel (link in description)
You can be very proud of this!
This was incredible
Cool AF man! keep up the amazing content!
🔥🔥🔥
that was super tight and spot on. loved it. thanks for keeping me entertained and amazed for a few minutes again. greetings from the Netherlands.
Man, The drum beat from Billie Jean in 20 different songs played by the guy who played the drum beat from Billie Jean in the song Billie Jean by Michael Jackson (Jonathan Sugarfoot Moffett, known for playing the drum beat from Billie Jean on Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and several other Michael Jackson songs that feature the drum beat from Billie Jean) is great!
Actually it wasn't him, in the original song the drum part was played by Leon ''Ndugu'' Chancler.
Akschually
:D :D :D
As I read your comment I heard it aloud very Scottishly until it was abruptly interrupted by loud screeching
*memenoise*
Barman ? i want the same thing :o with icecube thanks
"Atomic clocks are the most accurate time standard known"
Sugarfoot Moffett: "Hold my beat"
I have read under a different video that atomic clocks adjust themselfes to the beat of Sugarfoot Moffett.
Gene Hoglan would like to have a word.
As a drummer, I can say Moffet is a god damn machine. Incredible timing.
Drummer as well. Couldn't agree more. Nothing harder then playing one beat (even with click) for an extended amount of time sometimes. The simplest things can absolutely be the hardest.
@@silentdrive3243 Yeah, even listening to him, I want to add fills and stuff in places he doesn't. Takes a lot of self control lol!
@@silentdrive3243 I love beets.
@@dawnhasbroken6304 lol. Thanks for the catch I'll be editing
@@YoungDeathWish seriously. I mean I like to think of myself as an all-around drummer that can pretty much relatively play any style. Especially metal drumming and Jazz which is what I prefer to play. But doing straight 4/4 is sometimes a kick in the nuts! LOL
Whoa. Big up dude, this is huge
Thanks man ❤️
JONATHAN!!!
That's what she said
Wow, is that the lead singer of the best (totally real) band in the universe, galactikraken?
That's what she said
No one does the same beat better than Mr. Moffet.
Logic he start to play the beat in 70s and he's actually still playing it
Phil Rudd wants to know your location.
Well I like also Ricky Lawson which was with Mj during Bad and Dangerous Tour!!! Played the drums in Say Say Say, and other songs, was with Mj during Mj and friends in 1999.
Sometimes a simple beat just works best. And you can't deny that mr. Moffett's beats are unbelievably tight.
Well, if it works & it isn't broken, why fix it? That's the kind of laziness my son would have. Hey, I'll just recycle this beat since it works. Nobody will notice.
I like to imagine that after the video ended, Sugarfoot kept drumming and is still jamming in that room to this day 🥲
And he started 40 years ago
hes like the energizer bunny lmao
My man is like a metronome, doesn’t miss a beat. It’s so cool to watch. And Anthony, you killed it as always
Has in ears monitors in so click was involved. However still very easy to skip a beat regardless. As a drummer the simplest things can be the hardest. Such a great drummer!.
no, the metronome is like him
Not just that, but his recording setup sound unbelievably crisp.
2:48 Anthony couldn't hold the laugh of "changing" from under pressure to ice ice baby
Nothing wrong with him allowing himself to crack a smile in that scenario, as long as he didn't laugh out loud and break up his singing.
I was glad that I could get away with laughing out loud, as a viewer.
@@messinalyle4030 At least you could get away, I can't say the same for me
@@messinalyle4030 Me too was laughing so hard
Came here just to say this.
ten seconds song:
singing a song in 20 style
anthony vincent:
singing 20 songs in one style
"One Beat to rule them all, One Beat to find them,
One Beat to bring them all and in the Music bind them"
That seamless transition from Under Pressure to Ice Ice Baby.
counts as a cheating
Well that was amazing. Then again, what did I expect? It's Anthony Vincent and Micheal Jackson's actual drummer. There was no way it was gonna be bad (unless we're talking in the Micheal Jackson way).
This man IS the RHYTHM
18 to 19, just perfect. Barely noticed the song changed!
You're getting a lot better and soul and R&B
Sugarfoot is INCREDIBILE. Even friends who know nothing about playing music are amazed at videos of him playing. Even the simplest of beats gets so much richer when he plays it
Good God. You have a living legend playing with you!
Sugarfoot is a machine. MJ just worked with the best musicians. Cool.
The man, the metronome and the legend
They wanted to replace him with a drum machine, but they couldn't find one as precise.
Hahaha
He must be a machine he doesn’t talk
I really enjoyed 1999, your Prince is funky. And sugerfoot is a drumming machine, He is the best. Thanks you both do much.
The ending is perfect! Both the cover of 1999 (seems Sugarfoot really enjoyed playing that) and then the solo drums on Billie Jean.
How amazing is it that you got *THE* drummer for MJ??? That's just insane and this was fun to hear and watch!!!
Damn, incredibly talented and skilled
Under Pressure straight into Ice Ice Baby.... Noticed that grin on your face there Anthony.
Wow with MJ’s actual drummer? Epic! 🔥
Awesome! Funny how anthony couldn't hold back a smile when he did "Ice Ice Baby" with the corny look hahahaha 2:45
You can only catch that precision of tempo with digital. Sugarfoot is incredible.
It's such a simple beat, but it works so well
This deserves 3M+ likes. THIS IS THE KING OF POPS DRUMMER
We need a 1999 Cover because that was too perfect.
I totally agree with you
What a crossover! And this tom in Sugarfoot's set... just chillin', untouched 😅
You just took your styles videos and brought them to a whole different level!
👌the majority of these songs are my favorites👌daaaaamn. Looooove it👌
2 of my favorite man. Yeah!
Much love to Sugarfoot.
1:31 I didn't see that coming. Love it!
Moffett: how long do you want me to keep this beat?
Anthony: yes!
I wish i have a voice like him so that i can work with my voice anytime i want... I really salute this man
I love that format, make it often please
Sugarfoot rocks ! So nice to see him in this kind of project ! Need more of this !
Damn this was smooth!!! Loved "My Perogative" being included!
Ouch! It's great colab! Love Jonathan feel and your voice 🤘😍🤘
The collaboration I never expected but I needed in my life... 🔥🧡
This in flat out incredible.
Moffett the man! Congrats Anthony!
Duuuuuuddddddeeeeeeee
This was like literally 15 of my top 20 songs
Two Legends
Ice Ice Baby right after Under Pressure hahahahaha you did him dirty man lol
Just got a sudden need to listen to Prince after that - awesome stuff man!!
That drummer is literally on a perfect loop and you can't convince me otherwise
Love that he just keeps on playin at the end! Goes to show legends never end!
Oooooh that snare😍
I always thought some of the drums were samples until I watched the Drumeo session with Sugarfoot. Every hit sounds exactly the same. Unbeliavable control and skill.
Anybody: I need a drummer who is more accurate than a metronome
Sugarfoot: Give me drum sticks
I think you just made a new playlist for me
that snare sound is awesome dear colleaque @Jonathan Sugarfoot Moffett
I like how much flare that dude can add with an open hat.
Right!? So solid!
He didn’t even miss a beat. You guys are amazing
0:58 - No Doubt's "It's My Life" is definitely a cover of Talk Talk's 1984 version of the same name.
2 favorites. 1 video. Thank you
That was great man. Really great
This drummer is an huge inspiration to me 🥁♥️💥💥
Legendary drummer + legendary vocalist
0:49 SOMEONE FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGING THAT BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR EXISTS 😢
What a banger. This is such a great cover, good sir 👍
Ikr? That song deserves more attention!
Brilliant.
Had to watch it all! Anthony you are quite versatile. (Vocally that is)
The best compilation of songs!
The 10 seconds man is too strong! Too entertaining! :DD Great job Anthony!
Amazing cover!!
So entertaining!...luv your stuff
This was the best jam session. I was jamming the entire time in my car, heading to work. Awesome 👌 ❤❤❤💋
What legend of a drummer!
For all those saying it's the same beat, listen to the hi-hats and bass drum. It's very nuanced.
The bass is always the same. Look at his leg.
@@4kSouL Hmm, I thought I heard some doubles every now and then. But I'm also high :-) I'll listen again later.
WOW ! Mr Sugarfoot still has that insane groove ! I am floored good job Anthony Vincent and Sugarfoot!
Dude this is lit just straight fire you are super talented
beautiful
Never knew I needed that in my life... Until now!
Sugarfoot is so amazing.
I lost it when Ice Ice Baby came right after Under Pressure lmao
I really enjoy this collaboration... Do it again...
Fck I miss this format 😭. Thank you
Great mix of songs. I like Rockwell. When that song came out I loved it and the video is creepy!!!
JM is the most emotional drumming machine
These videos make me smile, all vibes. 👌🏻😁
Wow! This is huge!!!
Sugarfoot is a human drum machine. His groove and beat are so steady even metronome will be so nervous around him.
You know a man who loves the drums when he can just jam on that all day and still look like he's loving the jam.
Thank you for the video! You friends are all super awesome!
Thanks to the vocalist as well. Good collab!
THIS IS GOOOOLDDD
Definitely the best video you’ve done by far. Holy shit…
I love all of these songs! I feel so predictable...
Stuff like this fascinates me. Nice video!
Has anybody made more people grove and dance live then sugarfoot such legend ....
A collab with Sugarfoot? What an honor!
Brilliant👏chapeau👌🎩🤗
Legend has it that Sugarfoot is still playing that same beat to this day.
That snare sounds soooo good
