I need to get tge brass needle. I love the fact that you can pull it out a bit more. I feel with the wooden one they dont pull the needle out far enough❤ i feel like that slows down venting
I would think that ventilation would become more random as it gets closer to the hairline. It seems that everyone teaches that you start using one strand when you get an inch away from the front. But they're still using a grid. The perfect grid using the in-between method at the hairline still seems unnatural to me.
Because when you look at your regular scalp, the hair's not coming out of our scalp in perfect horizontal & vertical rows. It seems when we get to the hairline, we should ventilate more randomly, in addition to single strands.

After using the wooden one for the first time I now prefer it to this one oh. It's lighter than the iron 🤩
Both can pull the hair far enough though
