I keep trying to come back to this game cos It was my all time favourite game, but it's just awful now. And let me tell you, as the game that made me buy the PS4 at the time and became my favourite game ever, it really pains me not seeing any new developments. I hoped at least it would get the Fortnite treatment, but ofc not, Fortnite is the favourite child, and RL is there just to make some money out of skins. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind skins, but please include new game modes, the Ghost Hunt mode was my favourite ever, and it just appears ONCE, it's crazy. Another thing that annoys me is the fact you need to buy the new packs, like NASCAR, F1, Ghostbusters as soon as it's released or it's gone forever (or it takes a WHILE to rotate). Back then, you would open a list of DLC and buy whatever you want, but ofc Epic had to play the FOMO card, so everyone has to buy it as it's released, or yOu WoNt HaVe ThE fUlL cOlLeCtIOn. /rant. truly one of the games of all time. there’s invisible players (hacking), DDOS, trades disabled, MMR (rank) nuking, road to SSL discouraged, smurfs in every rank, toxic players, terrible matchmaking, lame season rewards, annoying goal music (britney spears??), chat bans, quitting bans, so much lost potential on a story mode or open world gameplay, random game crashing, a crowd of 2D eggs clapping and cheering, and more!!

@@DrumFFx I referred to Tetris because most of the games in that franchise have matchmaking that will put you against players with much higher or lower rank. I’ve almost never went against someone I couldn’t beat even if I really did my best in rocket league. My losses come from not playing my best, just like most players’. The point? I think any player should be able to beat almost anyone, even Smurfs, in their rank if they try their best. I really don’t think the matchmaking is going to put someone who just started against a veteran player, and I haven’t encountered many Smurfs. It would be nice to have a system similar to the one you stated, but I doubt it’s as easy as you think to develop it.
