New music is in the DNA of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Hear more about Music Director Louis Langrée's special relationship with Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait, premiered by the CSO in 1942. Langrée opened his inaugural season with Lincoln Portrait featuring Maya Angelou in 2013 and brought the work back with George Takei to open his final season with the Orchestra in 2024.
