First two matches Maru v Classic and Byun v Hero were epic. In particular Maru v. Classic was played the way Starcraft 2 was meant to be played. Great games from all players.

I am a massive protoss fan and have been waiting for this patch for years. That said, the casters continue to fall into the same trap of cheering the players 'genius' (mostly protoss storms etc) and the losing players 'mistakes' when clearly the patch and maps are having a massive effect on the matchup. I kinda feel for Terrans watching this, even though it's super obvious we needed this patch, and overall I'm thrilled it's made the game more competitive and fun to watch.

But in the previous patch (where since it was Terran favored Hero prob would of lost) they would have said "I think Hero's lack of _____ (whatever went wrong) ended up costing him the game and Byun is playing out of his mind!" when in reality they're both playing good it's just like you said the patch (making things more even & competitive) creates different outcomes but they don't mention it. That being said the games are 100 times better to watch instead of watching Protoss lose to 2 base pushes and invisible mines.
First game is already a banger. How often do you see this sort of game in TvP. Also all the bronze backseat gamers are twisting in joy seeing a bunch of SCVs in the middle of the map repairing vikings. 2:30:56 manner storm?

@afreecatvesports432 thank you for the "full vod" upload as opposed to just separate vods for the matches! when i saw the live with a frame i was worried we'd be stuck with that for a record of the full show, glad to be wrong. well i should've seen it on the ro16 too and known better instead of complaining.
Really nice to finally see Hero NOT play super sloppy and throw from a winning position. This latest patch was meant to balance out PvT a bit better, and so far it looks like it did a pretty good job!
Does anyone else have the problem where SC2 will drop games about 10 minutes in? I have great internet and have reinstalled multiple times. Any advise out there?
