First two matches Maru v Classic and Byun v Hero were epic. In particular Maru v. Classic was played the way Starcraft 2 was meant to be played. Great games from all players.

I am a massive protoss fan and have been waiting for this patch for years. That said, the casters continue to fall into the same trap of cheering the players 'genius' (mostly protoss storms etc) and the losing players 'mistakes' when clearly the patch and maps are having a massive effect on the matchup. I kinda feel for Terrans watching this, even though it's super obvious we needed this patch, and overall I'm thrilled it's made the game more competitive and fun to watch.

But in the previous patch (where since it was Terran favored Hero prob would of lost) they would have said "I think Hero's lack of _____ (whatever went wrong) ended up costing him the game and Byun is playing out of his mind!" when in reality they're both playing good it's just like you said the patch (making things more even & competitive) creates different outcomes but they don't mention it. That being said the games are 100 times better to watch instead of watching Protoss lose to 2 base pushes and invisible mines.

I cheered that amazing moment in the Maru / Classic game even though I'm a die hard protoss fan. It must've felt amazing for Maru and I swear I even saw a small smile break through after the match.. :)

I understand it's a strategic thing...but two medvacs was able to GG a game. I cannot imagine two full warp prisms able to gg a game without warping in.
On the winners match... ... ... ... ... ... Maru has such a stronger record then HerO, but any time they play, its like HerO just knows how to push Maru's buttons, and knocks him out specifically a lot
