Shopping at Eataly guarantee you stay poor, their prices are 30-50% higher than other places. I buy my Passata and Mutti tomatoes in the can from Costco and Molisana pasta from No Frills at half the price. That is your basics for Italian pasta. If you are making Bolognese sauce, I used short ribs and braised it for 6 hours and it is to die for. Go to Vincenzo's Plate if you want a recipe, you won't regret it. Maybe you will stop wasting money on pretentious places.
